Section 10.4.1. 46 Seniority rights shall not be lost and shall continue to accrue for the following reasons:
Section 10.4.1. 9 Employees, when injured on the job, may elect to use any accumulated sick leave time to 10 receive their normal salary. Payments from the Self-Insured Workers’ Compensation Pool may 11 be turned over to the District. The payments turned over to the District will restore the 12 accumulated leave credits in proportion to the amount of the payment. Sick leave pay shall be 13 integrated with any health and welfare plan, income benefit, or State Xxxxxxx’x Temporary 14 Disability Compensation schedule of benefits, so that the sum of the daily sick leave allowance 15 hereunder, and the aforesaid Health and Welfare Plan, accident and sickness income benefit, or 16 State Disability daily benefits, shall not exceed one hundred percent (100%) of the regular daily 17 rate of pay for any one (1) day. Any portion of the sick leave pay allowance not received by 18 the employee by reason of any such reduction shall be retained in the employee’s sick leave 19 pay account as part of the employee’s accumulated sick leave pay credits.
Section 10.4.1. 38 Seniority rights shall commence with the employee’s date of hire into the Nutrition Services 39 Department. 40
Section 10.4.1. 34 If no qualified employee from a classification applies for a position, District seniority will 35 always be considered, but ability to perform the duties of the job position shall remain the 36 primary consideration for hiring. 37
