Sanctuary Clause Samples

The Sanctuary clause establishes a designated safe space or protected area where certain activities, individuals, or assets are shielded from specific risks, actions, or legal consequences. In practice, this clause might apply to physical locations, such as a room or building, or to intangible domains, like data or intellectual property, ensuring they are not subject to interference, seizure, or harm. Its core function is to provide a clear boundary of protection, thereby safeguarding the interests or safety of parties involved and addressing concerns about vulnerability or exposure within the scope of the agreement.
Sanctuary. Our Sanctuary is the large, beautiful space where our congregation worships. This space is ideal for concerts, weddings, and worship services. It seats 400, with an additional balcony (seats 125).
Sanctuary. The Sanctuary is generally reserved for use in worship and meditation or for other large gatherings where the space is required. 1. Other than for sacraments of worship, food and beverages are not permitted in the Sanctuary. 2. Arts and crafts materials are not to be used in the Sanctuary. 3. Animals are not allowed in the Sanctuary except for service animals and church directory photos. 4. Significant movement of chairs within the Sanctuary is not allowed. Exceptions may be made when the responsible party has received prior approval by the Church Office staff, Ministries Board or Administrative Board. Minor rearrangement of chairs is allowed if the chairs are returned to their original configuration.
Sanctuary. The Unified Board must approve the use of the Stevensville United Methodist sanctuary and piano for any purpose other than normal worship services. The sanctuary is open and available to all who wish to use it for worship and private or communal prayer when the church building is open. The sanctuary is to be treated with reverence at all times. All of the guidelines outlined below for use of the fellowship hall pertain to the sanctuary.
Sanctuary. The Sanctuary is designated for religious use activities and shall not be considered available for other use except for weddings and funerals, without prior permission from the Chapel Hill Senior Pastor.
Sanctuary. The primary use of the sanctuary will be for Worship services. The use of the Sanctuary will be determined only by the Senior Pastor, all request to use the Sanctuary will go to the office first who will confer with the Senior Pastor as this room is a sacred and holy place. The use of the Sanctuary can be used for non-worship services, however those events must still meet the requirements of the Senior Pastor. The Parlor room will be DACC s primary use room. It is the most private, and most self contained room in the church. The technology in the room allows DACC to not have to use the Sanctuary. The use of this room will be limited to the size of the group (50). The Parlor Room will be used as if an extension of the Sanctuary, the selling of products, and secular use will be thought upon before use is granted. If food is going to be a major point of the event the office will determine whether a non-carpeted area is better suited. Century Hall is DACC primary reception building, and the ICAN Food Pantry reception hall. This building will be used for larger groups, groups using food as the main point of their event, and groups needing use of the kitchen. Century Hall can also be used as a gym, with basketball and volleyball capabilities. CH can also be used as a dance hall, as it is the most open and largest room in DACC. As this is the largest room on property it is a must that all groups give a weeks notice before use, as the HVAC system takes time to warm up and cool down such a large room.
