Whenever an employee is assigned to drive or operate a City vehicle or equipment, and said employee feels such vehicle or equipment requires such repairs that it is unsafe, hazardous or defective to safely operate, the employee shall immediately notify their immediate supervisor or other appropriate managerial employee of said safety hazards or defects.
