Room Block. Hotel agrees that it will provide, and University agrees that it will be utilizing (# of rooms) room nights in the pattern set forth below:
Room Block. The State will provide the Contractor final confirmation of rooms at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the conference date. The Contractor must provide written notification to the State seven (7) calendar days prior to releasing the room block. After providing written notice and the expiration of the final room confirmation deadline, the Contractor may release the rooms and will no longer be responsible to hold the block of rooms.
Room Block. At all times during the Term, but subject to the remaining provisions of this Article 3, Manager shall reserve for use by one or more Potential Convention Center Customers on any given day, up to three hundred twenty (320) guest rooms within the Hotel (“Required Room Block Size”), for the Required Room Block Days during each Booking Period.
Room Block. The Hotel will hold a total of room nights for the University’s event. The Hotel agrees to hold this Room Block until «BusinessCutoffDate» (“Cut-Off Date”), after which date rooms not covered by a rooming list or individual reservations shall be released from the Room Block and the Hotel shall have the right to sell any rooms so released. Hotel may continue to accept reservations received after the Cut-Off Date on a space and rate availability basis.
Room Block. Term of Agreement is thirty-three (33) years. In the event CityPlace Hotel, LLC renews the lease, the Room Block Agreement will be likewise extended. In the event CityPlace Hotel, LLC exercises its option to purchase the Hotel, the term of the Room Block Agreement will be extended by thirty-three (33) years. • Ensures that sufficient hotel accommodations will be available at the hotel to accommodated attendees at events in space being sold by the Convention Center • Establishes a methodology and a timeframe whereby hotel guest rooms are reserved • Establishes a competitive set of hotels for the purposes of determining annual rate escalation including: o The Hyatt Place West Palm Beach/Downtown o West Palm Beach Marriott o Holiday Inn Palm Beach Airport Conference Center o Embassy Suites West Palm Beach – Central o Hampton Inn West Palm Beach Central Airport o Hilton Garden Inn West Palm Beach Airport • Establishes the maximum permitted rates: Peak $200 Shoulder $175 Low $132 Shoulder $160 • The escalation of permitted rates are limited to the lesser of eight percent (8%) or the annual rate of growth in the average daily room rate of the competitive set

The Contractor must provide written notification to the State prior to releasing the room block. After providing written notice and the expiration of the final room confirmation deadline, the Contractor may release the rooms and will no longer be responsible to hold the block of rooms. Check-In. The State will accept the Contractor’s standard check-in time. If rooms are not available at the check-in time, the Contractor must provide a secure room to store luggage until the rooms are ready. Check-Out. The Contractor must provide a secure room for attendees to store luggage in between check-out and the end of the conference activities. After awarding the contract, the Contractor and the State may agree to a late checkout.

Room Block.
