Reconnection Fee. Reconnections will only be done before 3:30 pm. **Important Information** During winter months, there is the potential for pipes to freeze when the electrical service has been disconnected. Orangeville Hydro Ltd. will not be held liable for any damages incurred when the electrical service is disconnected. If the electrical service remains off for 6 months or more, an electrical inspection is required before the service will be reconnected as per ESA requirements.
Reconnection Fee. A charge shall be set for resumption of service to a customer where termination was due to failure to pay bills. New or relocated customers using an existing service line are charged under this paragraph. All previous bills shall be paid before a service reconnection will be made. This paragraph only applies to owner-occupied property.

If Customer’s Services are terminated due to breach or violation by Customer of any of the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement or any policy adopted by OCT relating to the Services, in the event OCT subsequently agrees to reconnect Services, the Customer agrees to pay a $200.00 reconnection fee.

When the expenditure is not so justified, the extension will be made only if the Customer pre-pays MPS the portion of the capital expenditure not justified by the anticipated annual revenue. SECTION 400 STANDARD SERVICES 401 General Characteristics This section describes the types of services offered to Customers under MPS’ Rate Schedule. Electric service supplied by MPS is alternating current having a nominal frequency of 60 Hertz (cycles per second). 402 Availability of Service Although the types of service listed below are generally available throughout the area served by MPS, service of the type requested by a Customer may not be available at the location where such service is requested and, in certain cases, may be available only through special contractual arrangements and at the expense of the Customer. Each Customer will generally be allowed only one type of service and one point of connection for each location. 403 Secondary Service Voltages The following types of secondary service are generally available to Customers served under MPS’ Rate Schedule: 403.1 Single-Phase Service. 120/240 Volt, 3-Wire, Grounded Neutral. Single-phase service is generally available where the total load is less than 100kVA.
Reconnection Fee. The Customer shall be obligated to pay a one-time “Reconnection Fee” in the amount of one-half the then-current water tap fee as set forth in the Fee Schedule.
