Protective and. The Employer shall provide and pay for all protective devices, clothing and other equipment necessary to properly protect employees from injury and unhealthy conditions. The Employer shall make provisions for the proper cleaning and maintenance of all safety equipment, devices and clothing at no cost to the employees.

Employees whose work requires them to wear protective devices shall be provided with all necessary tools, equipment and protective clothing, including, but not limited to specialized protective clothing required by the Employer for a specific operation. The Employer will issue to every employee Nitrile gloves or their equivalent, as required. The Employer will supply every employee with pocket mask, or its equivalent.

First Aid Training The Employer will encourage employees to take first aid courses and the costs of such courses and also the costs of refresher courses required to maintain the validity of a certificate. Employees taking aid training shall be granted leave with pay for the duration of the courses.
