Protection of Confidential Information; Non-Competition Clause Samples

The 'Protection of Confidential Information; Non-Competition' clause serves to safeguard sensitive business information and restrict parties from engaging in competitive activities. It typically requires individuals or entities to keep proprietary data, trade secrets, and other confidential materials private, and prohibits them from working for or starting competing businesses for a specified period and within a defined geographic area. This clause is essential for preventing the misuse of confidential information and reducing the risk of unfair competition, thereby protecting the legitimate business interests of the disclosing party.
