Plan Interpretation. Blue Shield shall have the power and authority to construe and interpret the provisions of this Agreement, to determine the Benefits of this Agreement and determine eligibility to receive Benefits under this Agreement. Blue Shield shall exercise this authority for the benefit of all Members entitled to receive Benefits under this Agreement.
Plan Interpretation. Optionee hereby agrees to accept as binding, conclusive and final all decisions and interpretations of the Board and, where applicable, the Committee, upon questions arising under the Plan. In the event of any question or inconsistency between this Agreement and the Plan, the terms and conditions of the Plan shall govern.

Public Policy Participation Procedure This procedure enables Members to participate in establishing the public policy of Blue Shield. It is not to be used as a substitute for the grievance pro- cedure, complaints, inquiries or requests for infor- mation. Public policy means acts performed by a plan or its employees and staff to assure the comfort, dignity, and convenience of patients who rely on the plan’s facilities to provide health care services to them, their families, and the public (California Health and Safety Code, §1369). At least one third of the Board of Directors of Blue Shield is comprised of Subscribers who are not employees, providers, subcontractors or group contract brokers and who do not have financial in- terests in Blue Shield. Plan Interpretation. The Committee shall be authorized to interpret the Plan and any Award granted hereunder and may, from time to time, adopt such rules and regulations, not inconsistent with the provisions of the Plan, as it may deem advisable to carry out the purpose of the Plan.
Plan Interpretation. Member municipalities agree to duly consider the opinions and recommendations made by the Committee on all matters pertaining to the interpretation of the Regional Comprehensive Plan and the regional policies, goals and objectives adopted by the Committee, but, except as otherwise specifically provided in this Agreement, it is understood that any opinion or recommendation rendered by the Committee shall be advisory only.
Plan Interpretation. The Administrator may construe the Plan, correct defects, supply omissions or reconcile inconsistencies to the extent necessary to effectuate the Plan and such action shall be conclusive.
Plan Interpretation. All provisions of this Plan shall be interpreted and applied in a uniform, nondiscriminatory manner. This Plan shall be read in its entirety and not severed except as provided in Section 7.11.
Plan Interpretation a) All words in the Plan shall have the same meaning as defined in the Municipal Government Act. For words not defined under the Municipal Government Act, their meaning shall be as is understood in everyday language.
Plan Interpretation. The Company has the exclusive discretion to interpret the terms of the Agreement and to determine the eligibility and benefits of the participant and beneficiaries. The Company’s determinations are final and binding, subject only to the claims procedure described below.
