PIU. 11.6 The Contracting Authority shall ensure the establishment and existence of a PIU, where one of the members will be a representative of the Ministry of Finance and Economy, which will be the representative of the Contracting Authority and a contact point for the Concessionaire, and will ensure the Project's successful implementation. The Contracting Authority shall staff the PIU with the right technical and administrative employees. The PIU costs and expenses shall be paid by the Contracting Authority. Continuation
PIU. 2. VEC shall establish the PIU for day to day implementation of the Project and assign necessary counterpart staff to the PIU prior to the commencement of any consulting services. The PIU shall be headed by the Project Director, who shall be responsible for overall Project implementation and management.
PIU. The Borrower shall maintain, with composition, resources, and terms of reference satisfactory to the Bank, the PIU within the headquarters offices of the SCLR in Kiev throughout Project implementation with personnel and financial resources adequate to enable it to perform its responsibilities under the Project, which specifically consist of daily management of the Project, including financial management, disbursement of Loan proceeds, carrying out of procurement of technical services, works and goods and selection and employment of consultants’ services, and other Project-related tasks. The PIU shall be headed by a Project Manager and, except as otherwise agreed with the Bank, shall include in its composition the positions of two Deputy Project Managers, a Financial Manager, an Accountant, four (4) Procurement Officers, a Logistics Officer, a Project Analyst, and a Supervisor for each of Parts A, B, C, D and EF of the Project.
PIU. The PIU shall be responsible for day-to-day technical, administrative, financial, and operational aspects of Project implementation. The PIU shall coordinate among the Borrower’s agencies responsible for in Project implementation all work related to budgeting, auditing, reporting, monitoring and evaluation, and shall be responsible for the preparation of bidding documents, evaluation of proposals, and negotiation and signing of contracts for goods and consultants’ services and training (with terms of reference satisfactory to the Bank) under the Project. The PIU shall be responsible for the preparation of disbursement requests. The PIU shall supervise the training programs and technical assistance provided under the Project, and monitor the arrangements for the sharing of information with offices of the architects and the delineation of the functions of the registration offices and the offices of the SLC at the rayon and oblast levels. The PIU shall monitor the progress of official documents in support of implementation of the Registration Law and the allocation of adequate premises and staffing for the rayon and oblast registration offices of the MOJ.
PIU. 2. JMBA shall establish the PIU for (i) monitoring the process of day to day Project implementation, (ii) provision of assistance to the DC in carrying out the DC’s tasks,
PIU. The PIU shall be responsible for assisting the EPS and MME in carrying out all Project-related procurement, financial management, accounting, reporting and disbursement activities. SCHEDULE 3 Procurement Section I. Procurement of Goods and Works Part A: General Goods and works shall be procured in accordance with the provisions of Section I of the "Guidelines for Procurement under IBRD Loans and XXX Credits" published by the Bank in January 1995 and revised in January and August 1996, September 1997 and January 1999 (the Guidelines) and the following provisions of Section I of this Schedule. Part B: International Competitive Bidding Except as otherwise provided in Part C of this Section, goods and works shall be procured under contracts awarded in accordance with the provisions of Section II of the Guidelines and paragraph 5 of Appendix 1 thereto. Part C: Other Procurement Procedures
PIU. 2. XXX shall establish the PIU for day to day implementation of the Project and assign necessary counterpart staff to the PIU prior to the commencement of any consulting services. The PIU shall be headed by the Project Director, who shall be responsible for overall Project implementation and management.
PIU. The Borrower shall establish and thereafter maintain the PIU with members whose qualifications, experience and terms of reference shall be acceptable to the Bank, to assist the MPW in the carrying out of the Project, the coordination of its implementation, and in the implementation of the RRP.
PIU. (a) The Recipient shall establish and maintain, until completion of the Project, the PIU established by DG Highways in the Provincial Government Working Unit in Aceh, to undertake day-to-day implementation of the Project.
PIU. The Project Implementation Unit (PIU) will be established in Luanda; it will be staffed by a coordinator, a financial management specialist, a procurement specialist, an M&E and knowledge management specialist and support staff. In each participating province, there will be a provincial implementation unit (PPIU) which will be staffed by an area coordinator, an accountant and key-support staff. Both the PIU and the two PPIUs will be entrusted with the day to day implementation of the Project including management, technical supervision, planning, fiduciary management, reporting, etc.
