Non-record means extra copies of documents kept solely for convenience of reference, stocks of publications, records not usually included within the scope of the official records of an agency or government entity and library material intended only for reference or exhibition. The following specific types of materials are non-records: materials neither made nor received in pursuance of statutory requirements nor in connection with the functional responsibility of the officer or agency; extra copies of correspondence; preliminary drafts; blank forms, transmittal letters or forms that do not add information; sample letters; and reading file or informational files.

Non-record means library or museum material of the state library, state institutions and state museums, extra copies of documents reserved only for convenience of reference and stocks of publications and processed documents are non-records (Section 14-3-2C NMSA 1978). Non-record of a Person means any document, data or any other material not included in the definition of Record but generated or received by or otherwise used in such Person’s business other than any such document, data or other material set forth or described on Schedule 1.1(g) (the “Excluded Non- Records”); provided, however, that any such Excluded Non-Records may become Non-Records pursuant to a process to be agreed to between the Company and MetLife. Notwithstanding Section 5.10(d), the requesting Party shall bear one hundred percent (100%) of the cost of delivery of such Excluded Non- Records from the delivering Party, including all costs of any separation of such Excluded Non-Records from any other Records, Non-Records or Excluded Non-Records.

Non-record means information that would have been a record, however its formal designation is a Non-Record. Non-Records include blank forms, and publications and periodicals of general circulation (including newspapers and magazines). In the absence of an investigation, litigation or legal hold, Non- Records also includes duplicate copies of records, drafts of documents, items containing information where the nature, content and/or source of the information is not readily identifiable and messages or communications containing information that is short-lived or that contains information of negligible or non- existent permanent administrative value, including without limitation, telephone message slips, self-sticking notes and voice mail communications, provided that such information does not constitute portions of any THCS record and is not otherwise required to be maintained. Non-Records include other items designated as Non-Records from time to time by IGL.

Non-record means additional copies of materials for which official or record copies have been retained, stocks of publications and processed documents intended for distribution or use, or records relating to personal matters that may have been kept in an office for convenience.
Non-record means a thing that is not a record. Examples of non-records are spam emails, personal emails or texts sent to or from a Town electronic device, or duplicative or non-substantive materials.
