Innovation. In order to make it easier for the municipality to implement innovations that can accelerate the pace of climate transition, Viable Cities will provide a competence network and process support, including by engaging other strategic innovation programmes in the ongoing development of Climate City Contract 2030, particu- larly in the areas of mobility, energy, built environment, the circular economy, health and digitalization. Based on the collaboration agreement on climate-smart mobility signed with the strategic innovation programme Drive Sweden, this area of collabo- ration will be further developed with both cities and government agencies, not least the Swedish Transport Administration.

Viable Cities intends to develop its role as a pioneer and intermediary (linker of systems, manager of gaps, xxxxxxx of boundaries) in order to reinforce the coordinating, mobilising and facilitating efforts in the emerging ecosystem for the Climate Neutral Cities mission, offering a good life for all within the boundaries of our planet. Innovation. When a division, or the College, wishes to introduce exploratory or interdisciplinary programs or courses, distance learning, or new technologies, any changes will be made by cooperative effort of the Administration and faculty members involved.
Innovation. 3.4.1. Provide analysis, best practices, and technical guidance for innovation in the building science and buildings sector that could further the County’s climate goals while providing innovative solutions.

Innovation. The Parties will explore innovative uses for wood products and establish a strategy to signal, subsidize, or incubate alternate uses for woody biomass products. Innovative products like cross-laminated timber, gasification, or cellular reconstruction, sequester carbon or provide carbon-efficient alternatives to fossil fuels and building materials such as steel and concrete.

Innovation. 3.11 The Government will offer the Heart of Hampshire expert advice and support through the Smart Specialisation Advisory Hub, and associated workshops, to reinforce activities that build on the area’s strengths. This will include a proposal for a Science and Innovation Audit, developed by a consortium of universities and research intuitions and research intensive companies, to help identify where support should be directed and how the future European Regional Development Fund and Local Growth Fund should be utilised.
