HOUR CLAUSE. Should the Seller at any time prior to the fulfilment of all Suspensive Conditions receive another offer to purchase the Property, which offer it, in its sole discretion, finds more acceptable and wishes to accept, then the Purchaser herein shall be notified of such fact in writing and shall have 72 (Seventy Two) hours from time of receipt of such notice to waive in writing the benefit of all suspensive conditions in this Agreement thereby binding himself/herself unconditionally to purchase the Property failing which this Agreement shall automatically lapse and be of no force or effect.

HOUR CLAUSE. Should the Seller at any time prior to the fulfilment of all suspensive conditions receive another bona fide offer to purchase his property, which offer he, in his sole discretion, finds more acceptable and wishes to accept, then the purchaser herein shall be notified of such fact in writing and shall have 72 (seventy two) hours (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays) from time of receipt of such notification to waive in writing the benefit of all suspensive conditions in this Agreement thereby binding the Purchaser unconditionally to the Agreement, failing which, the Agreement will lapse and be of no further force and affect. In the event, however, of the offer which the Seller wishes to accept being subject to the cooling-off provisions as prescribed in terms of Section 29A of the Alienation of Land Act of 1981, then the obligation on the part of the Seller to notify the Purchaser as prescribed in terms of this clause shall be postponed until after the cooling-off period has elapsed and furthermore shall not be required to be given at all should the Offeror exercise his rights in terms of the aforesaid cooling-off period to cancel the offer / agreement.
HOUR CLAUSE. For the purpose of the application of any Excess under Section 1 only, all Damage resulting from fire, earthquake, cyclone, flood, hail, storm and/or tempest, occurring during each period of 72 consecutive hours shall be considered as one Event where such peril is sporadic in its sweep and scope. The Insured shall select the time from which any such period shall commence but no two selected periods shall overlap.
HOUR CLAUSE. The Seller can, before the suspensive conditions in this agreement (first transaction) are fulfilled, accept subsequent offer(s); which will not be subject to any suspensive conditions or whereof all suspensive conditions have already been fulfilled. The 72 hours commence when the Purchaser or his agent in respect of the first transaction: 1) Is notified in writing of any subsequent offer(s) between 08h00 and 17h00; and 2) Receive a copy of the subsequent offer(s); and 3) Receive proof that all suspensive conditions of the subsequent offer(s) have been fulfilled, including bond approval with conditions acceptable for the SELLER; and 4) Any shortfall on the Purchaser price of the subsequent offer(s), not covered by cash or bond (if applicable), is secured by a guarantee delivered to the Seller ”s conveyancer.

HOUR CLAUSE. (a) Employees will be notified by the end of their shift the previous day if they are not to report for work on their scheduled shift the next day. This clause will not apply in cases of weather conditions or breakdown which occur after an employee has completed his shift. If an employee reports for work on a scheduled shift without having been informed previously not to report and less than six (6) hours work is available to him he shall be given six (6) hours pay notwithstanding.
HOUR CLAUSE. For employees working a normal (12 hour shift) the 16 hour clause will apply only when employees are required to work more than 16 consecutive hours in a 24 hour period. For example: Employee worked regular shift 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday and returns to work at 3:00 a.m. Tuesday and works consecutive to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday would be paid 5 + 12 hours = 17 x 1.5 = 25.5 hours pay. It is understood though that the obligation of distributing overtime is restricted to 16 consecutive hours including regular time.
HOUR CLAUSE. For employees working a normal 10-hour shift, the 16-hour clause will apply only when employees are required to work more than 16 consecutive hours in a 24 hour period.
