Hoses. The Owner must ensure that Port of Melbourne’s water hoses and equipment are properly attached to the existing fresh potable water supply fixtures located at the wharf apron.

Pumps, hoses, fittings, valves and similar equipment shall be made of food-grade materials or materials meeting NSF International Standard 61 and shall be kept clean, disinfected and operated or handled in a manner that prevents contamination and capped or closed when not in use. Hoses shall be marked/labeled “potable water” and the use of galvanized pipes or fittings is prohibited. The ends of all hoses shall be provided with threaded or clamped caps. Such caps shall be in place when hoses are not in use. Hoses in storage compartments must also be capped.

Hoses. (i) The Terminal Operator will furnish hoses between the tanker and the shore flanges. Flanges for hose connections should be at or near the Vessel’s dockside rail. Crossover hoses between barges or hoses at crossover offshore manifolds of Vessels (“jumpers”), shall be furnished and connected by the Vessel at the sole risk and expense of Buyer.
Hoses. Including but not limited to firefighting hose accessories (attack, supply line, soft suction, piston intake valves, nozzles, wyes, etc.), All firefighting hoses shall be NFPA compliant for service pressure test, proof/acceptance test pressure, burst pressure, and operating/working pressure.
