General Hold Harmless. Contractor shall indemnify and save harmless County and its officers, agents, employees, and servants from all claims, suits, or actions of every name, kind, and description resulting from this Agreement, the performance of any work or services required of Contractor under this Agreement, or payments made pursuant to this Agreement brought for, or on account of, any of the following:
General Hold Harmless. Contractor shall indemnify and save harmless PCEA and its officers, agents, employees, and servants from all claims, suits, or actions of every name, kind, and description resulting from this Agreement, the performance of any work or services required of Contractor under this Agreement, or payments made pursuant to this Agreement brought for, or on account of, any of the following:
General Hold Harmless. Contractor shall indemnify and save harmless County and its officers, agents, employees, and servants from all claims, suits, or actions of every name, kind, and description resulting from this Agreement, the performance of any work or services required of Contractor under this Agreement, or payments made pursuant to this Agreement brought for, or on account of, any of the following: (A) injuries to or death of any person, including Contractor or its employees/officers/agents; (B) damage to any property of any kind whatsoever and to whomsoever belonging; (C) any sanctions, penalties, or claims of damages resulting from Contractor’s failure to comply, if applicable, with the requirements set forth in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and all Federal regulations promulgated thereunder, as amended; or (D) any other loss or cost, including but not limited to that caused by the concurrent active or passive negligence of County and/or its officers, agents, employees, or servants. However, Contractor’s duty to indemnify and save harmless under this Section shall not apply to injuries or damage for which County has been found in a court of competent jurisdiction to be solely liable by reason of its own negligence or willful misconduct. The duty of Contractor to indemnify and save harmless as set forth by this Section shall include the duty to defend as set forth in Section 2778 of the California Civil Code.
General Hold Harmless. The CONSULTANT hereby agrees to protect, defend, indemnify, and hold the COUNTY free and harmless from any and all losses, claims, liens, demands and causes of action of every kind and character including, but not limited to, the amounts of judgments, penalties, interest, court costs, legal fees, and all other expenses incurred by COUNTY arising in favor of any party, including claims, liens, debts, personal injuries, death, or damages to property (including employees or property of COUNTY) and without limitation by enumeration, all other claims or demands of every character occurring or in any way incident to, in connection with or arising directly or indirectly out of AGREEMENT. CONSULTANT agrees to investigate, handle, respond to, provide defense for, and defend any such claims, demand, or suit at the sole expense of CONSULTANT. CONSULTANT also agrees to bear all other costs and expenses related thereto, even if the claim or claims alleged are groundless, false, or fraudulent. This provision is not intended to create any cause of action in favor of any third party against CONSULTANT or COUNTY or to enlarge in any way the CONSULTANT’S liability but is intended solely to provide for indemnification of COUNTY from liability for damages or injuries to third persons or property arising from CONSULTANT’S performance pursuant to this AGREEMENT.

The Contractor hereby agrees to protect, defend, indemnify, and hold the County free and harmless from any and all losses, claims, liens, demands, and causes of action of every kind and character including, but not limited to, the amounts of judgments, penalties, interest, court costs, legal fees, and all other expenses incurred by the County arising in favor of any party, including claims, liens, debts, personal injuries, death, or damages to property (including employees or property of the County) and without limitation by enumeration, all other claims or demands of every character occurring or in any way incident to, in connection with or arising directly or indirectly out of, the contract or agreement. Contractor agrees to investigate, handle, respond to, provide defense for, and defend any such claims, demand, or suit at the sole expense of Contractor. Contractor also agrees to bear all other costs and expenses related thereto, even if the claim or claims alleged are groundless, false, or fraudulent. This provision is not intended to create any cause of action in favor of any third party against Contractor or County or to enlarge in any way the Contractor’s liability but is intended solely to provide for indemnification of County from liability for damages or injuries to third persons or property arising from Contractor’s performance pursuant to this contract or agreement.
General Hold Harmless. The CONTRACTOR shall save, keep, hold harmless, defend, and indemnify PLACER COUNTY from all damages, costs, or expenses in law or equity that may at any time arise or be set up because of damages to property or personal injury received by reason of or in the course of performing work which may be occasioned by any willful or negligent act or omissions of the CONTRACTOR, any of the CONTRACTOR'S employees, or any subcontractors. The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for any liability imposed by law and for death, injury, or damage to property of any person including, but not limited to, workmen, subcontractors, and the public, resulting from any cause whatsoever during the progress of the work or at any time before its completion and final acceptance. If any judgment is rendered against PLACER COUNTY for any injury, death, or damage caused by CONTRACTOR as a result of work performed or completed, pursuant to this agreement, CONTRACTOR shall, at its own expense, satisfy and discharge any judgment. As used above, the term PLACER COUNTY means PLACER COUNTY, its officers, agents, employees, and volunteers.
General Hold Harmless. The Consultant hereby agrees to protect, defend, indemnify, and hold the County free and harmless from any and all losses, claims, liens, demands, and causes of action of every kind and character including, but not limited to, the amounts of judgments, penalties, interest, court costs, legal fees, and all other expenses incurred by the County arising in favor of any party, including claims, liens, debts, personal injuries, death, or damages to property (including employees or property of the County) and without limitation by enumeration, all other claims or demands of every character to the extent arising out of Consultant’s negligent performance under this agreement. Consultant agrees to investigate, handle, respond to, provide defense for, and defend any such claims, demand, or suit at the sole expense of Consultant. Consultant also agrees to bear all other costs and expenses related thereto, even if the claim or claims alleged are groundless, false, or fraudulent. This provision is not intended to create any cause of action in favor of any third party against Consultant or County or to enlarge in any way the Consultant’s liability but is intended solely to provide for indemnification of County from liability for damages or injuries to third persons or property arising from Consultant’s performance pursuant to this agreement.

Provider shall indemnify and save harmless HACSM and its officers, agents, employees, and servants from all claims, suits, or actions of every name, kind, and description resulting from this Agreement, the performance of any work or services required of Provider under this Agreement, or payments made pursuant to this Agreement brought for, or on account of, any of the following:
General Hold Harmless. Participant Dealership shall indemnify and save harmless PCEA and its officers, agents, employees, and servants from all claims, suits, or actions of every name, kind, and description resulting from this Agreement, the performance of any work or services required of Participant Dealership under this Agreement, or payments made pursuant to this Agreement brought for, or on account of, any of the following:
