Other changes in the pipeline include changing our current T- 21 (IHPT) programme to a 2-AU Inter-Semestral Project to be undertaken in the second year and the introduction of subjects on entrepreneurship. In summary, the new curriculum at the school and university level aims to • produce MPE graduates for the knowledge- based economy through a broad-based engineering curriculum plus specialization, • prepare MPE graduates for new challenges and developments in the life sciences by including on subjects in basic physical and biological sciences, and • prepare MPE graduates for life-long learning through an integrated approach in teaching and learning.
