The Facility Expansion clause outlines the terms under which the scope or capacity of a facility—such as a loan, service, or physical infrastructure—can be increased during the term of an agreement. Typically, this clause specifies the conditions, approval processes, and any limitations or requirements for expanding the facility, such as additional documentation, credit assessments, or fee adjustments. Its core practical function is to provide a clear and agreed-upon mechanism for accommodating future growth or increased needs, thereby reducing uncertainty and facilitating flexibility for both parties.
Facility Expansion. 4.1.6.1 If a Major Gas Sale is Sanctioned by year-end 2019, then the WIOs are not obligated to pursue or continue to pursue the work plans for a Point Thomson Expansion Project set forth in Paragraphs 4.1.6.2, 4.6.2, or 4.6.3.
4.1.6.2 If a Major Gas Sale is not Sanctioned by June 1, 2016, the WIOs shall begin engineering and permitting of a Point Thomson Expansion Project. The WIOs shall incorporate these work plans into the Expansion Planning POD set forth in Paragraph 4.6.2 of this Agreement.

If the existing Facility does not have a MassACA net metering cap allocated and the ISA only lists the new Facility’s capacity, please upload either the Permission to Operate or ISA for the existing Facility.
Facility Expansion. 18.07.01 Anam agrees that it will not expand the Facility or the Capacity without advanced, prior written notification to TI, which notification shall provide in detail plans for any such expansion, including anticipated additional Capacity.
