Elementary School Teachers. Four (4) work days without students for returning elementary teachers to be used as two (2) non-student attendance days for elementary parent conference days; plus two (2) days prior to the opening of schools.
Elementary School Teachers. 1. Teachers shall be on duty from 8:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
Elementary School Teachers. 1. Elementary teachers will be provided with five (5) preparation periods during any five (5) day teaching cycle with one (1) preparation period daily. Teachers will not be responsible for the preparation or distribution of plans/materials used by employees assigned to cover preparation periods not covered by specialists. Summer curriculum workshops and one workshop day during the school year may be provided to develop instructional activities for the periods not covered by a specialist.
Elementary School Teachers. 1. The normal teaching load at the elementary level (Pre-K to 6) shall provide each teacher with at least three hundred fifty (350) minutes per week within the teacher day for preparation time.

Elementary School Teachers a. Elementary school teachers will have a preparation period each time their entire class is covered by a special teacher; and special teachers will continue to be scheduled so as to permit elementary teachers to receive five (5) preparation periods per week. Administration will make every attempt to insure that elementary school teachers receive at least one (1) preparation period per day.
Elementary School Teachers. (a) The in-school work day for elementary school teachers shall be six (6) hours and forty-five (45) minutes. It is further provided that no teacher shall be scheduled to report for duty less than ten (10) minutes prior to the pupils’ school day, nor will teachers be dismissed earlier than ten (10) minutes after the pupils’ school day, which is included in the six (6) hour and forty-five (45) minutes. Furthermore, fifteen (15) minutes of this day shall be placed as a block of instruction time at the beginning or end of the student day.
