Early Check. In: Residents must abide by the appointed schedule for arrival. Early arrivals will be limited to those student leaders designated essential to college activities in advance of the official opening, athletes participating in preseason training camps, and international students with prior permission from the international student advisor. No other residents are typically permitted to arrive before the official posted opening date. If an early arrival is deemed necessary and approved, the early arrival will be charged the daily housing rate ($30 per day) in addition to semester room charges.

Early Check. IN/LATE CHECK-OUT: Early check-in or late check-out for either semester can be arranged through the Residence Life office for a fee. If this request is granted, the student will be charged a prorated daily rate, but not less than a total of $100, early move-in/late-move out fee per occurrence. The minimum charge for this service is $100 per occurrence. This charge will be assessed to fall or spring semester athletes who must arrive early or check out late for practice. GENERAL REGULATIONS The policies listed below constitute the major policies of Minnesota North College Residence Life, but are by no means the only ones listed in the handbook. • Alcoholic Beverages and Containers: The possession, association with, and/or consumption of alcoholic beverages, regardless of age, is NOT permitted in Housing facilities. Alcohol containers are not allowed in Housing facilities. Alcohol signs may not be displayed in windows or on the outside of apartment doors. Unannounced inspections of apartments by campus personnel may occur at any time.

Rental payments are 50% refundable for written cancellations received 31-59 days (61-89 days for holiday reservations) before the first night of your reservation. (Please note: Reservations made thru a 3rd party agency, may have more restrictive cancelation policies that may apply). No refunds will be granted for no-shows or cancelations within 30 days of the first night of your reservation, arrival after the first night of your reservation, or for early departure. No refunds or compensation will be given for any reason outside of our control, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, mechanical failures, acts of government agencies, or utility outages. We advise our guests to obtain appropriate travel insurance. In the event the property becomes Not Available during the Rental Term for circumstances beyond Owner/Agent control, we will apply due diligence to find a similar property that meets the Guest approval. If a replacement property is not available, Owner/Agent will return all payments made by the Guest, whereupon this agreement shall be terminated and all parties shall have no further obligations or liabilities in any manner pertaining to this agreement. Default: Any failure by Guest or any other Occupants to comply with any of the terms of this Agreement may result in a forfeiture of your deposit, rights to rent the Property, and immediate eviction without refund.
