Customer Restriction Sample Clauses

A Customer Restriction clause limits the types of customers or customer segments that a party may solicit, serve, or engage with under the agreement. Typically, this clause may prohibit one party from targeting the other party’s existing clients, or from working with certain competitors’ customers during or after the contract term. By clearly defining which customers are off-limits, the clause helps protect business relationships and proprietary client lists, thereby reducing the risk of unfair competition or poaching.
