Customer Charge. The charge to partially cover costs for billing, meter reading, equipment, service line maintenance and equipment by your EDC. This charge is the same no matter how much electricity you use.
Customer Charge. 5.4.1. Prices to be charged by Merchant shall be inclusive of all taxes, insurance charges and delivery charges and shall be uniform to all Customers.

To be responsive to parties’ concerns regarding low customer enrollment due to the existing R-OTOD customer charge of $32.08, the parties agree that the Company shall take a portion of the customer charge, distribute 90 percent of that portion across all hours of the volumetric portion of the rate, and distribute the remaining 10% of that portion across on-peak hours only. As a result of that reallocation, the $32.08 customer charge included in the Company’s original proposal for R-OTOD-2 and included in the current R-OTOD rate, shall be reduced to $16.50. The Settling Parties acknowledge the Company’s representation that, despite the shift of fixed costs to the volumetric portion of the rate, collectively customers taking the rate will generate an appropriate amount of revenue as compared with cost of service for the rate; if the shift in fixed charges to the volumetric portion of the rate results in either a significant over- or under-collection of revenue, the Company shall reevaluate the customer charge in its next distribution rate case. Attachment D provides the Company’s analysis that supports lowering the customer charge to $16.50, which is also supported by the design of Rate R-OTOD-2 as provided in Attachment C. 000005 D. Discontinuance of R-OTOD Customers shall no longer be able to select R-OTOD once the Commission approves this settlement agreement, and Eversource shall file a cancellation of the relevant tariff pages. Upon Commission approval of this settlement agreement, Eversource shall notify all existing R-OTOD customers that R-OTOD has been discontinued and offer those customers the option to switch to either Rate R or R-OTOD-2, with a default switch to Rate R, if the customer makes no selection by the applicable deadline. Eversource shall consult with these customers on which of the available rates will likely be most appropriate and advantageous for them to enroll in based on their energy usage, their potential for shifting energy usage to off-peak periods, using the analysis with bill comparisons included in Attachment B. The Settling Parties agree that, if existing R- OTOD customers do not select either available rate within six months following Commission approval of this settlement agreement, then those customers shall be switched to Rate R rather than leaving them on the discontinued R-OTOD following that time.

Default Service Provider – The company providing generation services to those who do not choose another supplier, are unable to find a supplier willing to serve them, or, for some reason, no longer receive generation services from another supplier. Your Default Service Provider can be found on your Electric Contract Summary. Sunrise – Capital Energy PA LLC dba Sunrise Power & Gas, a Pennsylvania limited liability company, or its assignee or successor. Distribution Charges - The charge on each customer's bill for delivering electricity from your EDC to your home or business, including the Customer Charge. The Distribution Charge is regulated by the Commission. It will vary according to how much electricity you use. EDC - An abbreviation for "electric distribution company." Your EDC is identified in the Electric Contract Summary. Generation Service Charge - Part of the Basic Service Charge on each customer's bill for the generation of (producing) electricity. Electric generation service is competitively priced and is not regulated by the Commission. This charge depends on the contract between the customer and the supplier. This service is included in the price that Sunrise charges you, as described in the Electric Contract Summary. Contract Term - In this Agreement, this is the time period during which you will receive the prices set forth in the Electric Contract Summary.
Customer Charge. MEA shall pay Chugach each month during the term of Chugach’s services herein Chugach’s then-applicable customer charge (identified on Tariff Sheet No. 99, 47th Revision canceling 46th Revision, effective June 1, 2014, and as may be modified by the Commission pursuant to the final adjudication of Docket U-14-01 (“Tariff Sheet No. 99”)).
Customer Charge.
