Construction Time. The undersigned agrees to complete all Work in the following number of calendar days from the Notice to Proceed:

Construction Time. The scheduled date of Substantial Completion of the Construction Work (the “Completion Date”) and any applicable milestone dates shall be determined at the conclusion of the Design Phase and shall be set forth in the “Preliminary Construction Schedule” attached to the Construction Amendment as Exhibit E.

Construction Time. The construction phase is estimated to last 24 months. The remainder of subconsultants providing services are as follows: Traffic Subconsultant. Provide traffic control plans and striping plans for the entire pipeline alignment and geotechnical boring in Caltrans right of way. Tasks include: • Assemble existing traffic volume data for the pipeline routes. • Meet with the City of San Diego to discuss Traffic Control requirements. • Meet with the City or La Mesa and Caltrans to discuss the project and Traffic Control requirements for the project. • Prepare Traffic Control Plans for boring within Interstate 8. The plan will be prepared to permit closure of the Number 1 travel lane on Interstate 8 adjacent to the center median. The plan will be prepared to conform to Caltrans requirements. • Prepare Traffic Control Plans for Lake ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Boulevard from approximately 1,100 feet north of Wisconsin Avenue to Wisconsin Avenue, Wisconsin Avenue west or Lake ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Boulevard, crossing under Interstate ▇, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇, 70th Street, Mohawk Street, ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇. A total of twenty-five (25) Traffic Control Plan Sheets are proposed including title sheet, detail sheet and notes. • Prepare Striping Plans to restripe the following roadways: o Lake ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Blvd. from 1,100 feet north of Wisconsin Avenue; o Wisconsin Avenue west of Lake ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Blvd.; o Alvarado Road; o 70th Street from ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Road to Mohawk Street; o Mohawk Street at ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ and ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇; and o El Cajon Blvd. at 69th Street. A total of three (3) Striping Plan sheets with two (2) strips per sheet are proposed. • Prepare Cost Estimates and Special Provisions for Traffic Control and Traffic Improvements. Tunneling Subconsultant. Analysis of soil conditions and trenchless methods will be selected to help determine a final alignment and tunneling method. Plans and specifications will be provided for the trenchless crossing. Construction period services will be provided; however, due to the unknown scope of work the trenchless consultant will give a scope and fee upon completion of design and funding will be provided from the “Additional Services” task. Corrosion Subconsultant. Design a cathodic protection system for the piping and associated appurtenances. Review 30% submittal and submit Cathodic Protection specification and drawings page numbers and titles. Prepare 60% cathodic protection drawings and technical specifications. Construction Time the number of calendar days required to perform the work. Refer to Sections 8.1.1 and 8.1.2.

Construction Time. In accordance with Section 2.3.1 of the Agreement, the Preliminary Construction Schedule, setting forth the Completion Date for the Construction Work and any applicable milestone dates, is attached hereto as Exhibit E and incorporated in the Agreement by this reference.

Construction Time. The undersigned ▇▇▇▇▇▇ agrees to complete all Work under a single general contract, as prescribed in the Contract Documents, and understands that no extension of time will be allowed for any reason, including the acceptance of any alternate except as provided in the Contract Documents. The undersigned agrees to commence Work immediately upon receipt of the Building Permit, and issuance of the Notice to Proceed ( NTP) or no later than five (5) working days from the issuance of the NTP; and achieve Substantial Completion of all Work in accordance with the Contract Documents and completion of the entire Work to allow issuance of the Architect’ Certificate of Final Payment before June 1, 2017

Construction Time. The term “Construction Time” is defined as the total number of days between the date of the Notice to Proceed with Construction and the date on which Substantial Completion of all Work must be completed by the Contractor. The Construction Time shall be: 365 Calendar Days.

Construction Time. 4.01. Contractor agrees to build, construct and complete the above-described improvements within 60 days from the date hereof; provided, however, a reasonable allowance shall be made in the event delays occur because of unseasonably bad weather, strikes or inability to obtain materials and supplies over which the Contractor has no control. 4.02. CONTRACTOR and OWNER recognize that time is of the essence of this Agreement and that OWNER will suffer financial loss if the Work is not completed within the times specified herein, plus any extensions thereof allowed. The parties also recognize the delays, expense, and difficulties involved in proving in a legal or arbitration proceeding the actual loss suffered by OWNER if the Work is not completed on time. Accordingly, instead of requiring any such proof, OWNER and CONTRACTOR agree that as liquidated damages for delay (but not as a penalty), CONTRACTOR shall pay OWNER $0.00 for each day that expires after the time specified for Completion until the Work is complete.
