For the purpose of this Cloud Service, the Order Document will consist of the Quotation that IBM presents to you and the Proof of Entitlement (XxX) that you will receive from IBM confirming the Cloud Services have been provisioned and setting forth the beginning and end date for the term of the Cloud Service. This Service Description includes a base offering, described in Section 1.1, which you must order to use the optional services, described in Sections 1.2 through 1.8. You may order the optional services to enhance the base service, such as targeting and personalizing communications to your customers.
Cloud Service Description. The Teradata Cloud Service Description (or “Cloud Service Description”) is Teradata’s standard description for the Teradata Cloud Service in effect at the time of the applicable Order. Teradata may make modifications to the Teradata Cloud Service Description immediately if a modification is required by applicable law, or necessary to improve security, performance, functionality, availability, or reliability of the Teradata Cloud Service. In addition, Teradata may modify the Teradata Cloud Service Description from time to time and will make the most current version thereof available through the Teradata Cloud Service portal. Cloud Service Description. A trial Cloud Service is a Cloud Service IBM makes available for a limited period to enable Client to evaluate its functionality and technology. Client is authorized to use the Cloud Service during a specified trial period soley for the purpose of evaluating its functionality and technology. Use in a production environment or for commercial purposes is not permissible. Any such use is soley at Client's own risk. Client may only participate in a trial for a Cloud Service one time. If Client wishes to continue with the Cloud Service upon expiration of the trial period, Client will need to submit an order for the generally available Cloud Service offering. IBM is under no obligation to offer migration capabilities or services.
Cloud Service Description. The following is the Cloud Service offering that you may order. Section 1.1 below describes the base offering.
