BENCHES. Benches are a great way to remember and honor a loved one. Donors may request a specific location for their bench, however department staff will determine the exact location based upon existing bench placements and Parks & Recreation Department needs.

1. Contractor shall examine the substrates and conditions under which all equipment is to be installed and notify the Owner's Representative in writing of conditions detrimental to the proper and timely completion of the work. Do not proceed with the work until unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected. Assume all footings for post bases to be placed on compacted subgrade.
1. Assemble all furnishings that require assembly prior to installation.
2. Install equipment at the locations shown. Install level, plumb, secure and in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and detail drawings. Cooperate with other trades and sections of the specifications. Repair and replace damaged units as directed by the Owner's Representative.
3. Protect installed equipment from damage, blemishes, or indication of use until completion and acceptance of the project.
BENCHES. Backless 71” Benches shall be “Austin™” Benches or an approved equivalent. (See Exhibit F-2).
(a) All Benches shall be constructed in accordance with the drawings and specifications provided under Exhibit F-2, “Austin™” Benches, Backless Bench, Cantilever, Aluminum, End Arms and Center Arm.
(b) Benches shall be aluminum seating surface.
(c) Benches shall be fabricated with metal components finished in Super Durable baked powder coat color Silver provided under Exhibit F-2 or an approved equivalent.
(d) The Contractor shall provide one (1) re-touch spray paint per bench in Super Durable baked powder coat color Silver or an approved equivalent for future use.
(e) All Benches shall be constructed in accordance with the specifications and drawings provided under Exhibit F-2, “Austin™” Benches, Backed Bench, Cantilever, Aluminum, End Arms and Center Arm
(f) Benches shall be aluminum seating surface
