Babysitting. If a youth member requires and receives treatment for an Injury by a Physician and is confined to home following the Accident, the Insurer will pay for a babysitter to tend to the youth member during normal school hours or during the Parent’s workday if the Parent is unable to do so. The babysitter must be at least 18 years of age and not an immediate family member. This benefit is subject to an hourly maximum equal to the provincial minimum wage and an aggregate limit of $500 per youth member during the term of this Policy.
Babysitting. New Odyssey for Children does not render childcare services off-site, except in the event of field trips which have been authorized in advance by the parent. The parent agrees not to arrange with staff members for off- site care of their child. If any staff member agrees to provide off premises care for children enrolled in New Odyssey for Children, the staff member takes such service on their own behalf, not as an employee of New Odyssey for Children, and is in violation of our employee policies. New Odyssey for Children staff members are selected and retained only on the basis of their fitness for rendering child care services in a controlled and fully supervised child care program. New Odyssey for Children offers no assurance of the fitness of its staff members for performing these and other services in an environment which is not professionally supervised (such as transporting children or caring for them in the home) and none should be implied or inferred under any circumstances.
Babysitting. In the best interests of children and residents, babysitting is not allowed at GNU residence premises. BICYCLES Bicycles are a well-known object of theft in the Xxxxx Neighborhood of Spokane, where GNU is located. In addition to using a reliable bike lock, residents in GNU housing are urged to register their bicycles for free with the City of Spokane. This will not prevent your bike from being stolen, but it may improve the chances of a stolen bike being returned to the proper owner. Bicycles may not be stored in GNU student housing bedrooms or common areas for safety reasons; but they may be stored in garages, sheds, or enclosed porches. GNU does not assume responsibility for loss due to theft on the property. PETS Animals or pets of any kind are not permitted in GNU student housing due to sanitation and health concerns. Service animals are an exception to this policy. Students with service animals must seek approval from the Assistant Campus Life Coordinator and provide proper documentation of the animal’s training and licensing. RECYCLING AND CONSERVATION The University encourages students to reduce, reuse, and recycle consumable products and items, as well as to conserve energy. Residents are encouraged to conserve energy by turning off stereos, televisions, and lights when leaving rooms, using natural light during the day, and conserving water whenever possible. ROOM ACCESS University staff may enter residences to examine conditions and to make necessary repairs and alterations. The University staff, without prior notice, may enter residence houses and students’ rooms if they suspect the commission of a crime, a violation of the Student Handbook or GNU Catalog, or if immediate maintenance is required. PRANKS Pranks are strongly discouraged by the University, as they can frequently and quickly escalate to be destructive and harmful. Individuals found guilty of a prank(s) will be held financially responsible if any damage occurs to any University or student-owned property. Responsible individuals may also face disciplinary action and fines if any of the following occurs during or because of the prank(s): • Invasion of another student’s or employee’s privacy. • Defamation of character of another student or employee. • Disruption to the regular operation of the University. Babysitting. 15.1. Any babysitting service provided by a member of nursery staff to a parent falls outside the contract which exists between the Nursery and the parent. The babysitting service is the subject of a separate contract between the parent and the member of staff in which the nursery has no involvement whatsoever.

Babysitting. Occasionally parents may ask their child’s teacher to babysit. The Center does not encourage this practice. If you enter into an agreement with a Learning Ladder Academy, LLC employee to babysit for your family outside of the employees work hours, it must be done away from the Center with full knowledge and understanding that the sitter enters into such an agreement as a private citizen and not as a Learning Ladder Academy, LLC employee. The Center assumes no responsibility for employees after their scheduled work hours. You may be required to sign an acknowledgement and waiver to this effect. If you enter into an independent agreement with a Learning Ladder Academy, LLC employee to care for your children, and this results in the person leaving our employment, we reserve the right to charge you a finder’s fee of $1,500. Meals Breakfast, lunch and a snack are served daily for those able to eat table foods. Menus are posted in the center as well as on our website. It is the parent’s responsibility to check the menu to inform the teacher of any concerns. We provide Gerber Good Start Gentle formula, rice/oatmeal cereal, xxxxxx fruits and vegetables and appropriate snacks for infants. If you wish to bring items from home, food must be labeled with the child’s name and will be stored in the appropriate location in the child’s room. All bottles that are prepared by the parent/guardian must be labeled with the child’s first and last name, contents and date. Unused portions of bottles will be discarded within one hour from the beginning of the feeding. For this reason, please fill bottles only with the amount of formula or breast milk your child will drink at each feeding. We ask that you take any bottles, open food or formula with you at the end of each day. All left over open food items will be discarded at the end of the day.

We are unable to be involved in any organisation of any arrangements that you wish to make and therefore you need to ensure that any arrangements that you do make are agreed privately between you and the individual concerned.
