The Federation does not condone and will not tolerate discrimination against an employee on the basis of prohibited grounds as set out in the BC Human Rights Code. Discrimination shall include violation of the principle of equal pay for work of equal value. In addition, there shall be no discrimination on the basis of union activity. The Federation and the Union recognize that employees are entitled to work in a respectful environment free from all forms of discrimination and harassment. The Federation, in cooperation with the Union, will promote a work environment that is free from discrimination and harassment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity. Discrimination relates to any of the prohibited grounds contained in the BC Human Rights Code.
