Formal Level 2. If the Association is not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance at Level 1 or if no disposition has been made within five (5) days of receipt of the disposition, the grievance shall be transmitted to the Superintendent or his/her designee within five (5) days thereafter. Within seven (7) days after the grievance has been so submitted, the Superintendent or his/her designee shall meet with the Association on the grievance. The Superintendent or his/her designee, within fifteen (15) days after the conclusion of the meeting, shall render a written decision thereon with copies to the Association and the grievant(s).
Formal Level 2. If the Union is not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance at Level 1 or if no disposition has been made within five (5) working days of receipt of the disposition, the grievance shall be transmitted to the Superintendent. Within seven (7) working days after the grievance has been so submitted, the Superintendent or his/her designee shall meet with the Association on the grievance. The Superintendent or his/her designee shall, within ten (10) working days after the conclusion of the meeting, render a written decision thereon with copies to the Association and the grievant(s).

Formal Level 2. Within five (5) days of receipt of the supervisor’s decision at Xxxxx 0, if the Association is not satisfied with the decision at Level 1, or if no decision has been made within five

If the union is not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance at Level #1 or if no disposition has been made within five (5) days of receipt of the grievance, the grievance shall be taken to mediation as provided by the Michigan Employment Relations Commission. It is agreed that three members of the Board of Education will be assigned by the Board to participate in the mediation process.
Formal Level 2. Within seven (7) days after the grievance has been so submitted, the governing body or its designee shall meet with the Association of the grievance. The Employer's governing body or its designee, within five (5) days after the conclusion of the meeting, shall render a written decision thereon with copies to the Association and the grievant(s).
Formal Level 2 a. The grievant may appeal that decision rendered by the immediate supervisor by filing the written grievance with the Director – Employee Resources or his/her designee within seven (7) working days.
Formal Level 2. If the Association is not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance at Level 1 or if no disposition has been made within ten (10) business days of receipt of the grievance, the grievance shall be transmitted to the immediate supervisor’s supervisor or Vice President over the grievant’s immediate supervisor. Such transmission shall be within ten (10) business days from the receipt of the supervisor’s written response (Formal Level 1) or date on which the supervisor’s response was due. Within ten (10) business days after the grievance has been so submitted, the administrator receiving the grievance and the immediate supervisor shall meet with the Association on the grievance. This administrator, within ten (10) business days after the conclusion of the meeting, shall render a written decision thereon with copies to the Association and the grievant(s). The grievance shall not be amended without the employer’s agreement after Level 2.

If the grievant and the Union are not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance at Level 1, or if no disposition has been made within five (5) work days of receipt of the grievance, the grievance shall be transmitted to the Superintendent or designee. If no decision is rendered within five (5) work days of the discussion, or if the decision is unsatisfactory to the grievant and the Union, the grievant shall within five (5) work days appeal same to the Board of Education by filing such written grievance along with the decision of the Superintendent with the officer of the Board in charge of draw- ing up the Agenda for the Board's next regularly scheduled Board meeting. Upon proper application as specified in Level Two, the Board shall allow the employee or his Union representative an opportunity to be heard at the meeting for which the grievance was scheduled. Within ten (10) work days from the hearing of the grievance, the Board shall render its decision in writing. The Board may hold future hearings therein or otherwise investigate the grievance provided, however, that in no event ex- cept with the express written consent of the Union, shall final determination of the grievance be made by the Board more than ten (10) work days after the initial hearing. Level 4: If the grievance is not resolved to Union's satisfaction, the Union may appeal the grievance by notifying the Board of its intent to pursue the grievance with the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its rules within ten (10) work days of the Board's disposition of said grievance. No individual employee shall have the right to pursue a grievance to arbitration under this clause without the approval of the Union in writing. A grievance may be withdrawn at any time without prejudice by the grievant and the Association. There shall be no appeal from any arbitrator's decision. Each such decision shall be final and binding on the Association, its members, the employee or employees involved, and the Employer.
