Playing Contract definition

Playing Contract means an employment contract in a form specified by The FA from time to time for use in the Competitions.
Playing Contract means a contract between the Player and an AFL Club including any variation(s) in the form/s of the Standard Playing Contract, Rookie Contract and/or Additional Services Agreement as from time to time prescribed by the AFL;
Playing Contract means the written contract of employment which is entered into between a Player and their Club.

Examples of Playing Contract in a sentence

  • In the event of a dispute arising between the parties during the term of this Playing Contract or following its termination, the matter may be referred for determination by a nominee of the League.

  • Such arrangements are separate and distinct from the Standard Playing Contract which regulates the employment of a Player to play Australian Football for an AFL Club.

  • The Club shall make the Player Payments to the Player in accordance with the Schedule attached to this Playing Contract.

  • The Parties agree that the Standard Playing Contract shall be restructured in a form substantially similar to that provided to AFL in 2017 to recognise that the payment made under the Standard Playing Contract is for both personal services, and the use of Players’ Image, subject to the AFL and AFL Clubs being the beneficiary of an indemnity in a similar form to the indemnity given by a Player under clause 4.4 of the Additional Services Agreement approved by the AFL acting reasonably.

  • If either party lawfully terminates this Agreement, then despite any clause in a Player’s Standard Playing Contract or the AFL Rules & Regulations, the terms and conditions of this Agreement (and any prior Collective Bargaining Agreement) shall cease to be incorporated into the Standard Playing Contract on and from the date of termination.


More Definitions of Playing Contract

Playing Contract means a written contract, entered into between a Player and a Club which sets out the level of salary (and other benefits) to be earned by the Player pursuant to her employment with the Club.

  • Training Contract means an agreement signed by the employer and the Apprentice or Trainee (and a parent or guardian if applicable), in accordance with the Act and Regulatory requirements.

  • Federal contract information means information, not intended for public release, that is provided by or generated for the Government under a contract to develop or deliver a product or service to the Government, but not including information provided by the Government to the public (such as on public Web sites) or simple transactional information, such as necessary to process payments.
