Training Contract definition

Training Contract means an agreement made subject to the Training and Employment Act 2000 between an employer and the Trainee for a Traineeship and which is registered with the Training Recognition Council or under the provisions of the appropriate State or Territory legislation. A Training Contract shall be made in accordance with the relevant approved Traineeship Scheme and shall not operate unless this condition is met.
Training Contract means a contract, entered into and registered by SAICA, whereby a Trainee Accountant is duly bound to serve at a training office for a specified period and is entitled to receive experience in the prescribed competencies and which meets the requirements for a learnership agreement in terms of the Skills Development Act, 1998; and

Examples of Training Contract in a sentence

  • Completion will be available earlier than the specified duration in the Training Contract if all competencies have been attained, and an extension to the maximum duration can be mutually agreed if all required competencies have not been attained.

  • A Training Contract must be signed within 14 days of the Apprentice or Trainee being employed.

  • Employers are required to arrange for their Apprentices/Trainees to be enrolled with a registered training organisation and for a Training Plan to be signed within three months of the date of commencement of the Apprentice/Trainee’s Training Contract (or within two months for school-based arrangements in accordance with the Approved Training Scheme).

  • If the Training Provider delivers training to Apprentices or Trainees under a Training Contract, the Training Provider must adhere to all legislative requirements under the Act and the Guidelines about Apprenticeship/Traineeship Training Delivery.

More Definitions of Training Contract

Training Contract means the same as specified in the Training and Employment Act 2000, as amended from time to time and shall also include any indentures for apprentices previously employed in Federal Apprenticeships previously administered by the Australian Industrial Registrar.
