Design Development Documents definition

Design Development Documents means the Drawings, Specifications and other documents prepared by the Trade Contractor that establish and describe the size and character of the Trade Contractor Work as to architectural, civil, structural, mechanical and electrical systems, graphics and signage, and other elements, and which include typical construction details, equipment layouts and specifications that identify major materials and systems.
Design Development Documents has the meaning set forth in Section 1.6.2.
Design Development Documents means the design development documents, prepared by A/E for the Project, including plans, elevations, and such other drawings, calculations, and outline specifications that, in TFC’s sole opinion, are of such quality and detail that enable TFC to fix and illustrate the size and character of the entire Project in its essentials as to kinds of materials and assembly details, type of MEP Systems, and type of structure and to coordinate the interface of all architectural and structural elements with all building systems.

  • The Construction Documents shall illustrate and describe the further development of the approved Design Development Documents and shall consist of Drawings and Specifications setting forth in detail the quality levels of materials and systems and other requirements for the construction of the Work.

More Definitions of Design Development Documents

Design Development Documents means drawings, specifications and other documents that fix and describe the size, quality, and character of the Improvements as to architectural, basic structural and mechanical features and systems and that include a schematic design, a detailed site plan, floor plans, elevations, complete drawings with structural dimensions, materials, colors and other features.
Design Development Documents means presentation quality materials, which shall include colored drawings or computer-generated color images (in plan and elevation) and/or 3- dimensional models that accurately reflect the Artwork and how it will be installed at the Site, mock-ups, final color and materials samples, proposed fabrication methods, feasibility studies and final cost estimates at design completion. When used in reference to the proposed Artwork, Design Development Documents shall fix and describe the size and character of the Artwork with respect to its relationship to the Site, including architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical systems, materials and other elements as may be appropriate.
