HOURS OF WORK AND. Hours of work for all employees covered by this Agreement shall be eight hours per day, only by one hour for lunch, forty (40) hours per week (Monday to Friday), except as set forth. HOURS OF WORK AND. Employees are expected to attend work regularly. When un- able to attend, the Owner, or designate must be notified, as soon as it is reasonably possible prior to the commencement of the scheduled shift of the employee, giving the reason why the employee is unable to attend, when he expects to return to work and how the Owner or designate can call him relative to his absence. The basic work week for full-time employees will consist of forty (40) hours per week, made up of five (5) days of eight (8) consecutive hours duration. Employees designated as Night Crew will receive a premium of seventy-five (75) cents per hour. Night Crew will be scheduled between and a.m. For clarity, a Night Crew employee’s en- tire shift will fall between these hours. In the event a regular- ly scheduled night shift of forty (40) hours is implemented, such night shift shall be scheduled on the basis of five (5) consecutive nights of eight (8) hours in duration. HOURS OF WORK AND. OTHER WORKING CONDITIONS The parties hereto have mutually agreed upon this schedule of hours of work for each department, conditions governing overtime work, and conditions governing reporting for work when work is not available. This schedule is intended to provide a basis for calculating overtime and shall not be construed as a guarantee to any employee for such hours or any other hours. The following are the starting and stopping times for the various departments in the plant but any changes in the starting stopping time in any department or section of the plant will be put into effect only after consultation with Union, except in cases of extreme emergency in which instance the meeting will take place at the earliest possible opportunity.
