Index Closing Value definition

Index Closing Value is calculated for each Index Calculation Day by the Index Calculation Agent in accordance with section C) 1) of this index description on the basis of the Valuation Price of the Current Reference Instrument for that Index Calculation Day and published in accordance with section E) of this index description.
Index Closing Value means, on any index business day for the relevant underlying index or a basket index, as applicable, the closing value of the underlying index or a basket index, as applicable, or any successor index (as defined under “—Discontinuance of Any Underlying Index or Basket Index; Alteration of Method of Calculation” below) published at the regular weekday close of trading on that index business day by the underlying index publisher.
