Successor Index definition

Successor Index means any substitute index approved by the Calculation Agent as a Successor Index pursuant to Section 3 hereof.

  • In these Conditions, a “Business Day” shall be a day on which the SGX-ST is open for dealings in Singapore during its normal trading hours and banks are open for business in Singapore and an “Index Business Day” shall be a day on which the Index is published by the Index Sponsor or, as the case may be, the Successor Index Sponsor and where the Index closes at the normal trading hours.

  • Index Sponsor means, in respect of an Index, the corporation or other entity that (i) is responsible for setting and reviewing the rules and procedures and the methods of calculation and adjustments, if any, related to such Index and (ii) announces (directly or through an agent) the level of such Index on a regular basis during each Scheduled Trading Day or any Successor Index Sponsor, as defined in Condition 13 (Adjustments).

  • If a relevant Index is (i) not calculated and announced by the Index Sponsor but is calculated and published by a successor to that Index Sponsor (the "Successor Index Sponsor") acceptable to the Calculation Agent or (ii) replaced by a successor index using, in the determination of the Calculation Agent, the same or a substantially similar formula for and method of calculation as used in the calculation of such Index, then in each case that Index (the "Successor Index") will be deemed to be the Index.

  • Successor IndexIf the Index is (i) not calculated and announced by the Index Sponsor but is calculated and published by a successor to the Index Sponsor (the Successor Index Sponsor) acceptable to the Calculation Agent or (ii) replaced by a successor index using, in the determination of the Calculation Agent, the same or a substantially similar formula for and method of calculation as used in the calculation of the Index, then in each case that Index (the Successor Index) will be deemed to be the Index.

More Definitions of Successor Index

Successor Index shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3(a) of this Annex A.
Successor Index means where the Index is (i) not calculated and announced by the Index Sponsor but is calculated and announced by a successor sponsor acceptable to the Calculation Agent or (ii) replaced by a successor index using, in the determination of the Calculation Agent, the same or a substantially similar formula for and method of calculation as used in the calculation of the Index, such successor index or index calculated and announced by the successor sponsor.
Successor Index means any successor or substitute index approved by the Calculation Agent as a Successor Index pursuant to Section 3 on the face of this Security.
