Other deviations from the first paragraph may be made by a local agreement on the precondition that the salaried employee is compensated with leave or is granted suitable protection. If the employer decides to schedule the corresponding rest period during working hours, no salary deduction shall be made.

Weekly rest. 2.1 The working time of a salaried employee shall be arranged so that the employee receives a continuous weekly rest period of not less than 35 hours, scheduled where possible for Sunday or a day adjacent thereto. The said weekly rest may be arranged as an average of 35 hours over a period of 14 days. The weekly rest period shall nevertheless be not less than 24 hours in any week. The employer shall always notify a salaried employee of any averaging of weekly rest before work is carried out during weekly rest.
Weekly rest. 1. If the number of actual daily working hours is three or less, the employer is not liable to arrange specific weekly rest.
Weekly rest. 8.2.1 The salaried employee shall be given at least 36 hours’ continuous leave during each seven-day period. The leave shall, as far as possible, be scheduled during a weekend. The leave may not be interrupted by standby duty or travel time. By local agreement it may be provided that the rest shall be calculated as an average during a period of two weeks. The parties agree that the main rule above regarding weekly rest shall be the basis for the employer’s planning of the work and that 36 hours’ weekly rest shall be strived for as far as possible. The parties note however that in the companies concerned there may be occasions when it due to unforeseeable events is not possible to perform the work within the framework of the main rule of the agreement. In such a situation, the consequences for the work situation of the individual employees shall be taken into consideration.
Weekly rest. On a weekend between two consecutive working weeks, weekly rest may be granted as a continuous period which is included part- ly in the first week and partly in the second week, provided that the majority of the weekly rest is included in the week the weekly rest is related to.
Weekly rest. The salaried employee shall be given at least 36 hours’ uninterrupted rest during each period of seven days (weekly rest). As far as possible, weekly rest shall be scheduled for weekends. Deviations may be made on a temporary basis if this is caused by a special circumstance that the employer could not have foreseen, on condition that the salaried employee is given 36 hours’ uninterrupted rest before the next weekly rest. This compensatory rest is paid leave. Deviations may be made from the above by local agreement on condition that the salaried employee is compensated with leave or is given other suitable protection. Time when the salaried employee is on standby (when a salaried employee must remain at the employer’s disposal in order to carry out work when the need arises) does not count as weekly rest.
Weekly rest. An employee must be given no less than 36 hours of continuous leave in each seven-day period. The local agreement specifies the day on which the weekly rest is to be taken and the conditions under which it can be moved. Weekly rest may be scheduled on a day of the week other than that specified in the local agreement in the event of illness and other circumstances beyond the control of the employer. When weekly rest occurs on a public holiday or the day before a public holiday, the employer may postpone the day of weekly rest to the next weekday or another day by local agreement. Weekly rest may be withdrawn temporarily due to illness or other circumstances beyond the control of the employer. Weekly rest that is withdrawn is replaced by two days of annual leave in connection with ordinary annual leave or by individual agreement. Otherwise, annual leave is paid in cash. A local agreement may be made on the right to withdraw weekly rest. Compensation is paid according to paragraph three. Comment For employees with a 6-day week, the weekly rest is on Monday if no local agreement is made or, if notice is given at least 5 weeks in advance, on the Sunday before or after. Notice includes the performance schedule. The parties agree that the exception in Section 14 of ATL means that, by way of exception, an employee may start work on the day after the weekly rest day in ordinary working hours under this Agreement, even if this restricts the weekly rest. In this case, compensation is paid according to sub-clause 3.8.4 b. Days off under sub-clause 3.2.2 may not replace ordinary weekly rest unless the day off coincides with an ordinary weekly rest day under a local agreement.

Weekly rest. The salaried employee shall be given at least 36 hours’ continuous leave during each seven-day period (weekly rest). The leave shall, if possible, be scheduled during a weekend. The leave may, however, be scheduled both in the beginning and in the end of a seven-day period. The leave for two periods may be joined on one weekend, which makes it possible to adapt the leave, e.g., in case of emergency service. If objective technical or work organizational reasons so require, a weekly rest of not less than 24 hours may be applied by a local agreement. A temporary deviation from the first paragraph may be made if caused by special circumstances not foreseeable by the employer, provided that the salaried employee will be compensated with corresponding leave. Other deviations from the first paragraph may be made by a local agreement on the precondition that the salaried employee is compensated with leave or is granted suitable protection.
Weekly rest. The Executive shall be entitled to one paid day-of-rest per week, which shall be determined by the Company according to its needs. Said rest days will normally be Saturdays and Sundays, though they can be modified if the Company's needs so require. The parties agree that the compensation for such days of rest is included in the compensation contemplated in Section 7 above, since said compensation represents the total monthly compensation to the Executive.
