UNION RECOGNITION AND SECURITY. 3.1 The Employer recognizes the Union as the sole bargaining authority for all employees covered by this Agreement and coming within the jurisdiction of the Union. The Union recognizes that the Association is the sole bargaining authority for all subcontractors of the Employer covered by this Agreement and coming within the jurisdiction of the Union.
UNION RECOGNITION AND SECURITY. B3.1 The Employer shall have the right to retain the original crew once established throughout the territory covered by the job for which the Pre-Job Conference was held.
UNION RECOGNITION AND SECURITY. The Employer recognizes the Union as the sole and exclusive bargaining agency for all employees in the unit consisting of classifications as defined in Schedule "A", attached hereto and made a part of this Agreement. All employees shall become members of this bargaining unit upon completion of their probation and remain members of the union, as a condition of their employment, during the life of this Agreement, and the Union shall notify the Employer promptly in writing of the failure of any such employee to become or remain a member of the Union; provided, however, that the Union shall not request the Employer to discriminate against any employee for non-membership in the Union, if such membership is not available to the employee on the same terms and conditions generally applicable to other members, or if membership is denied or terminated for reasons other than the failure of the employee to tender the periodic dues or initiation fee uniformly required by the Union as a condition of acquiring or maintaining membership. For the duration of this Agreement, the Employer shall deduct from the first pay period of each month, Union dues and remit same to the Local Union within ten (10) days, upon receipt of a Dues Authorization Card signed by the employee. Initiation fees shall be deducted within the first two (2) paychecks after completion of the probationary period and upon receipt of an authorization card signed by the employee. This authorization shall continue until revoked by the employee giving written notice to the Employer, by registered mail postmarked or received by the Employer either (a) during the period from the first June 24th to the first July 1st, both inclusive, after the effective date of this authorization, or (b) during the same period of each year thereafter, or (c) after the termination of the Agreement between the Employer and the Union. Through tile representation of the Union, employees shall have the right to a hearing on any differences of opinion as to the competency of any employee to fill a new position or vacancy of promotion or demotion, or discipline administered, or layoffs, or discharges or of discrimination. UNION RECOGNITION AND SECURITY. 2.01 Recognition The Employer recognizes the Union and will not discriminate against any employees because they are a member or officer of the Union. The Employer also recognizes any employee elected or appointed to act as a full-time officer of the Union and such an officer shall be granted access to the Employer premises at all reasonable times upon application to the Employer manager in charge. Any qualified Union officer, including Union designated Job Stewards, shall be recognized by the Employer in discussing any grievance under the terms of the Grievance Procedure as set out in Article 'G' 3.00.

The District recognizes the Union during the existence of this meeting Agreement as a collective bargaining agency for all present and future employees of the District who are within job classifications set forth in Article IV, Section A of this Agreement. The Union will not include or retain in its membership any employee who is appointed to a permanent position conferring the power of discipline in the way of hiring, suspending or discharging employees under them, or any employee who, by promotion or otherwise, comes within a job classification not set forth in Article IV, Section A of this Agreement, provided that if any such exempted employee is demoted to or reclassified into a job classification set forth in Article IV, Section A of this Agreement, the employee shall be subject to the Union security provisions hereinafter in this Section contained on the day following the effective date of such demotion or reclassification.
UNION RECOGNITION AND SECURITY. 9.1 Subject to the provisions and limitations of the National Labor Relations Act, as amended, all present Employees who are members of the Union on the effective date of this Agreement shall as a condition of continued employment continue their membership in the union for the duration of this Agreement to the extent of paying the initiation fee and membership dues uniformly required as a condition of acquiring and retaining membership in the Union. All Employees who are not members of the Union and all persons who hereafter become Employees shall as a condition of continued employment become members of the Union on the eighth (8th) day following their original date of employment, whichever is later, and shall remain a member of the Union to the extent of paying the initiation fee and membership dues uniformly required as a condition of acquiring or retaining membership in the Union, whenever employed under and for the duration of this Agreement.
