Local Union definition

Local Union means a bargaining unit representing employees at an institution that has ratified a Collective Agreement that includes this Common Agreement.
Local Union refers to that constituent local of the UNION at a College/University of which employees working at that college are members.
Local Union means an organization of employees employed in this state, the membership of which includes employees of one or more employers, whether or not they are affiliated with an organization of employees employed in one or more other states.

Local Union as used herein refers to the IBT Local Union which represents the employees of the Employer at the par- ticular place or places of business to which this Agreement, and the Supplements, Riders or Addenda thereto are applicable, unless by agreement of the Local Unions involved or by directive issued pur- suant to the IBT International Constitution.
