Transportation Employee. 1. As of the date of ratification, each employee will receive eight (8) leave days (four (4) per six (6) month period-July1-December 31, January 1- June 30 ) with no accumulation of banked days. At the conclusion of each school year any unused days will be paid back to the employee at the rate of $45/day at a maximum of eight (8) days. Employees with banked days will continue to keep them.

Transportation Employee. 1. Each employee shall have earned one (1) day sick leave per month of employment based on a ten (10) month work year. Five (5) days shall be credited at the beginning of each semester. To be eligible for sick day credit, the employee must work at least 50% of the scheduled work days. If a driver works during the summer, he or she shall receive one day for each month worked.
Transportation Employee. 1. As of the date of ratification, the use of sick/personal leave days in each employees bank of days shall be limited to 3 paid days per year. No additional sick/personal days will be accrued for transportation employees.

This includes transportation via multi-passenger van services and common carriers such as public railways, buses, cabs, airlines, ambulance as appropriate, and private vehicle transportation by individuals. The NEMT broker must approve ambulance, multi-passenger van services, and transportation by common carriers. The MCO must inform enrollees of how to access non-emergency transportation as appropriate.
