HOLIDAYS WITH PAY. Employees shall be entitled to holidays with pay in accordance with the provisions of this article.
HOLIDAYS WITH PAY. 7.01 I) Employees shall be paid without the performance of work for the following holidays, at their regular rate of pay: New Year's Day Civic Holiday January 2nd (1st Monday in Aug.) Good Friday Labour Day Victoria Day Thanksgiving Day Canada Day Christmas day Boxing Day

HOLIDAYS WITH PAY. 7.01Employees who qualify under Section 12.02 shall be paid without the performance of work for the following holidays: New Year's Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Dominion Day, Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Remembrance Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. When any of the above holidays fall on Saturday, it shall be observed on the preceding Friday, and if the holiday falls on Sunday, it will be observed on the following Monday. Employees who have accumulated one hundred and twenty (120) days seniority will be granted two (2) floating holidays per year. Such holidays will be taken at a time satisfactory to the employee and the supervisor. An employee who by reason of lay-off is prevented from taking their floating holidays shall receive pay in lieu of such holidays. If an employee has any floating holidays remaining on December 1st, the employee may elect to take pay in lieu of time off.
HOLIDAYS WITH PAY. 18.01 The following days will be observed as paid holidays for employees: New Year's Day Labour Day Xxxxx Xxxx Day Thanksgiving Day Good Friday Remembrance Day Victoria Day Christmas Day Canada Day Boxing Day Civic Holiday (1ST Monday in August) If, during the life of this Agreement, a holiday should be declared by government which is not listed above and which is to be generally observed in the Province of Manitoba, such holiday shall be observed and paid by the Company under the same terms and conditions as apply to the holidays which are listed above.
HOLIDAYS WITH PAY. 5.01 Employees who qualify under Section 4.02 shall be paid without the performance of work for the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Canada Day, Labour Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. When any of the above holidays fall on Saturday, it shall be observed on the preceding Friday, and if the holiday falls on Sunday, it will be observed on the following Monday. Employees who have accumulated one hundred and twenty (120) days seniority will be granted two (2) floating holidays per year. In addition to the above, on January 1 of the current calendar year, an employee who works 6 months or more in the previous calendar year will be entitled to four (4) additional Floating Holidays. Such holidays will be taken at a time satisfactory to the employee and his supervisor. An employee, who by reason of lay-off is prevented from taking his Floating Holidays shall receive pay in lieu of such holidays. For those employees who would be scheduled to work on a statutory holiday, holiday pay will be based on each employee’s normal schedule. Those employees not scheduled to work will receive pay as defined in the Collective Agreement.
HOLIDAYS WITH PAY. (a) All employees other than relief employees (as defined) shall be entitled to the following holidays without deduction from their wages: New Year's Day, Australia Day, Hobart Regatta Day (South of Oatlands), Labour Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Easter Tuesday, ANZAC Day, Queen's Birthday, Show Day (as defined), Recreation Day (where Hobart Regatta Day is not observed), Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

An employee who has accumulated 120 days seniority will be granted one (1) floater holiday per calendar year to be taken at a time satisfactory to the employee and his supervisor. An employee who by reason of lay-off is prevented from taking his floating holiday shall receive pay in lieu of such holiday, during the current year.
HOLIDAYS WITH PAY. 7.01 The following days shall be classed as Holidays: New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Dominion Day, Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Family Day. Two (2) floating holidays shall be granted as an additional Holiday and shall be taken at a time satisfactory to the employee, provided that he notifies the Company seven (7) days in advance and providing no other employee is absent for any reason. Should Remembrance Day be declared a Public Holiday to be observed by Business, it shall replace the Floating Holiday. Floating Holidays shall be taken within the calendar year.

Employees who have accumulated one hundred and twenty days seniority will be granted two floating holidays per year. Such holidays will be taken at a time satisfactory to the and his supervisor. An employee who by reason of layoff is prevented from taking his floating holidays shall receive pay in lieu of such holidays. The holidays, Dominion Day and Remembrance Day may be observed on any such other day as may be mutually agreed to by the parties to this agreement. In the case of Victoria Day, Dominion Day, Civic Holiday, Thanksgiving Day, Remembrance Day holidays, qualified employees to be eligible for holiday pay, must work their last work day or holiday and be in camp ready for work at the start of their first work day or shift following the holiday. In the case of Labour Day, Christmas, Boxing Day and New Years Day, there will be a scheduled shutdown excluding essential services. It is arranged by the parties. Either party may initiate discussions at least two weeks prior to the holiday. See Letter of Understanding Christmas Shutdown. Qualified employees to be eligible for holiday pay must work their last day or shift preceding the holiday shutdown and be in camp ready for work at the start of their first work day or shift following the holiday shutdown. Notwithstanding the preceding it is further agreed that qualified employees shall receive pay for the holidays. Where they have been laid off for lack of work in the thirty days immediately preceding the holiday. Where an employee who qualifies under Section is obliged to cease work due to sickness or accident certified by a licensed practitioner during the thirty day period immediately prior to the holiday, he shall receive holiday pay for the holiday(s) within such day period. Where a holiday or holidays occur during their absence from work on an authorised vacation provided they return to work on time. The employee shall be entitled to additional time off for any holidays occurring within such vacation period.
