Exchange Teaching Leave. Upon the recommendation of the Chancellor-Superintendent and approval by the Board of Trustees, a leave of absence of not more than two consecutive semesters may be granted for exchange teaching. Eligibility for health and welfare benefits shall follow eligibility rules specified in Article 9.9. During an unpaid leave, employees may continue membership and group coverage by payment of premiums at their own expense.
