Employees on Leave. Unit members who are granted Sick Leave Bank Days shall be considered to be in regular paid status during such leave.
Employees on Leave. An Employee who is declared surplus and who is on parental leave, absence due to extended illness, accident compensation, approved special leave without pay or secondment will be covered by the surplus staffing provisions of this Agreement.
Employees on Leave. Employees on sick leave, authorized leave of absence or authorized disability leave shall be treated for the purpose of reduction in force and displacement the same as all other employees and must meet any notification requirements as set forth in this Article. Any temporary vacant position resulting from displacement exercised by employees on authorized sick leave, leave of absence or disability leave may be temporarily filled by the Employing Agency by interim employment until the displacing employee returns from authorized leave. An employee who is reduced in force while on authorized disability leave shall continue to receive disability leave payments for such period of time as such leave is approved by the ODAS Director under the provisions of Chapter 123:1-33 of the Ohio Administrative Code.
Employees on Leave. Employees shall not be called in to perform work while on: • Absence covered by WCB and/or LTD and/or Automobile Accident Insurance Act • Sick Leave • Approved Leave Of Absence, except education leave • Medical Care Leave • Family Leave • Bereavement Leave • Vacation • Interpersonal Violence Leave Exceptions may be made i.e. Maternity Leave following discussions between the Employee, the Union and the Employer.
Employees on Leave. An employee on paid leave shall continue to be eligible for District contributions to the travel, accident, and long- term disability. An employee on unpaid leave for one (1) calendar month or longer shall have elected insurance coverage continue until the end of the period for which the employee has contributed premiums by salary reduction.
Employees on Leave. If an employee is on leave when an alert status shift is 10 called, he/she will not be called to work unless it is operationally necessary to do so. Employees who 11 have been pre-approved for leave may be relieved from Alert when the leave is scheduled to begin 12 unless the employee elects to cancel or postpone the start of the leave or is operationally necessary 13 due to emergent conditions for management to cancel the leave. In the event that an employee’s 14 approved prescheduled leave is cancelled due to Alert, the County agrees to reimburse the 15 employee’s documented unreimbursed travel expenses that are directly attributed to the cancelled
Employees on Leave. Employees on any type of leave shall be subject to layoff in accordance with this article. Employees on disability shall continue to receive disability leave benefits until the period of disability is over and the employee would otherwise be able to return to work.
Employees on Leave. An employee on unpaid Military Leave of Absence is required to pay medical, life, dental, and vision insurance premiums after the Employee has been on leave for more than one (1) calendar month in order to continue METRO insurance benefits.
