Accrual of Vacation Time. (a) (1) Eligible employees who are on the forty (40) hour per week payroll shall accrue 10 vacation hours per month for each completed month of continuous fulltime service except that employees who have completed twenty (20) years of service shall accrue thirteen and thirty-three (13.33) vacation hours for each completed month of continuous full-time service.

Accrual of Vacation Time. Vacation leave may be accrued by unit members to the limit of the number of days which represents the equivalent of earned vacation for a period of two (2) years. (Maximum earned vacation time allowed would be 44-days for a 20-year unit member) A review of unit member’s vacation accrual will occur on June 30 of each year. Any unit member who has accumulated vacation days in excess of the 2-year maximum allocation will have his/her vacation balance reviewed on a monthly basis and will not receive an allocation until his/her cap has been reached. At that time, the days will be allocated through the remainder of the year.

Accrual of Vacation Time. All regular employees are eligible to accrue vacation benefits. Vacation time shall be accrued on the basis of hours compensated, including hours compensated from an employee’s vacation, sick leave or holiday leave account. An exception will apply when an employee elects, pursuant to Section 9.5, to bank hours worked as compensatory time in lieu of cash payment, in which case vacation shall accrue on the hours worked (rather than hours later compensated from a compensatory time bank). Accrual of Vacation Time. (a) Eligible employees and who are on the thirty-five (35) hour per week Division of Criminal Justice payroll who have completed less than ten (10) years of service shall accrue 5.834 vacation hours per month for each completed month of continuous full-time service except that employees who have completed three (3) years of service shall accrue eight and three-quarters (8 3/4) vacation hours per month for each completed month of continuous full-time service and employees who have completed ten (10) years of service shall accrue eleven and two-thirds (11 2/3) vacation hours per month for each completed month of continuous full-time service.
