Total Disability definition

Total Disability means a “permanent and total disability” within the meaning of Section 22(e)(3) of the Code and such other disabilities, infirmities, afflictions or conditions as the Committee by rule may include.
Total Disability means the inability of a Limited Partner substantially to perform the services required of such Limited Partner (in its capacity as such or in any other capacity with respect to any Affiliate of the Partnership) for a period of six consecutive months by reason of physical or mental illness or incapacity and whether arising out of sickness, accident or otherwise.
Total Disability means a totally disabling Condition resulting from an illness or injury that prevents a Member from engaging in any employment or occupation for which he may otherwise become qualified by reason of education, training or experience, and for which the Member is under the regular care of a Physician.

  • Executive’s employment hereunder shall terminate automatically upon Executive’s death and the Corporation may terminate Executive’s employment on account of Executive’s Total Disability.

  • Except as permitted under Sections 6.5 and 6.6 of the Plan, distributions from a Participant’s Account may not be made earlier than the earliest of the Participant’s death, Total Disability, Severance from Employment with the Employer, or the attainment of age fifty-nine and one-half (59½).

  • As to distributions from annuity contracts issued on and after January 1, 2009, a Participant may withdraw, subject to any applicable early distribution penalty, any Employer contributions (which are not Elective Deferrals) plus earnings attributable thereto from any Annuity Contract which is a Funding Vehicle under this Plan no earlier than a Participant’s Severance from Employment, Total Disability, death, or the attainment of age 55.


More Definitions of Total Disability

Total Disability means the complete and permanent inability of a Key Employee to perform all of his or her duties under the terms of his or her employment with any Participating Company, as determined by the Committee upon the basis of such evidence, including independent medical reports and data, as the Committee deems appropriate or necessary.
Total Disability as used herein shall mean the Executive’s inability (with such accommodation as may be required by law and which places no undue burden on the Company), as determined by a physician selected by the Company and acceptable to the Executive, to perform the Executive’s essential duties for a period or periods aggregating twelve (12) weeks in any three hundred sixty-five (365) day period as a result of physical or mental illness, loss of legal capacity or any other cause beyond the Executive’s control, unless the Executive is granted a leave of absence by the Board.
Total Disability means a “total and permanent disability” within the meaning of Section 22(e)(3) of the Code and, with respect to Awards other than Incentive Stock Options, such other disabilities, infirmities, afflictions, or conditions as the Administrator may include.
Total Disability means accidental bodily injury or sickness which wholly and continuously disabled an optionee. The Committee, whose decisions shall be final, shall make a determination of Total Disability.
Total Disability means an individual is determined as being disabled for Social Security purposes and provides such evidence to the Plan of the determination as the Plan Administrator may, in its sole discretion, require.
