Rules of the Association definition

Rules of the Association or "Rules" means the numbered rules set forth in the NASD Manual beginning with the Rule 0100 Series, as adopted by the NASD Board pursuant to the NASD By-Laws, as hereafter amended or supplemented;
Rules of the Association means the rules relating to the Association contained in the book entitled “Policy, Organization and Rules”, as from time to time amended, and subject to any variations sanctioned in due form in accordance with the said rules to meet local conditions in Kenya.
Rules of the Association means this document, including all of the obligations, powers and procedures that it creates

  • All contracts of insurance made by the Association are expressly subject to the laws of England and Wales, incorporate the provisions of the Marine Insurance Act 1906 and are subject to and incorporate the provisions of the Insurance Act 2015, and any statutory modifications thereof, except in so far as such Acts or modifications may have been expressly excluded by the Rules of the Association for the time being in force or by any term of any such contract.

  • Terms not specifically defined shall have the same meaning as those defined in the By-Laws and Rules of the Association.

  • There shall be no recovery under this insurance if the event in respect of which a claim would otherwise arise also results in the Entered Ship becoming an actual or constructive total loss under the Rules of the Association.

  • Members may, in accordance with the Rules of the Association, give notice of suspension of insurance in respect of either Section A or Section B cover and pay the Additional Premium to maintain whichever Section of the additional insurance they wish to preserve.

  • Where it is alleged that a body, a person or persons have by virtue of an act or utterance violated any of these Codes, an injured or interested party may make a complaint pursuant to the prevailing ‘Complaints’ Rule of the Rules of the Association and the matter shall be dealt with by the relevant body.

  • Unless stated otherwise in Appendix 1, any arbitration arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be undertaken in accordance with the Rules of the Association of Arbitrators of Southern Africa by one or more arbitrators appointed in accordance with the said Rules.

Rules of the Association or “Rules” means the numbered rules set forth in the
Rules of the Association and 'these Rules' shall mean these Rules of the Association and all supplementary substituted or amending rules for the time being in force;

Related to Rules of the Association

  • the Association means the Association referred to in rule 1;

  • Rules of Procedure means the rules of procedure adopted by the Fund Council for the management of its own business, as originally adopted on July 16, 2010 and amended from time to time.

  • Trade association means an entity recognized by the State in which the entity is doing business as a trade association and shall not include an organization that is formed for the purposes of providing insurance. “Transaction cutoff date” for weekly data reporting is 8 p.m. Central time on Friday of each week and for monthly data reporting is 8 p.m. Central time on Friday after the first Sunday of the month.

  • rules of court means Rules of Court made under this Act and includes forms;

  • ICC Rules means the Rules of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce in effect on the date the applicable arbitration proceeding begins.

  • School Rules means the body of rules of the School as may be amended from time to time for legal, safety or other substantive reasons, or in order to assist the proper administration of the School. A copy of the then current version of the rules is provided to each child on entry and is sent to parents with the Acceptance Form. Parents will be notified of subsequent changes to the rules;

  • Savings association means a Fed- eral savings and loan association or a Federal savings bank chartered under section 5 of the Home Owners’ Loan Act, a building and loan, savings and loan or homestead association or a co- operative bank (other than a coopera- tive bank described in 12 U.S.C. 1813(a)(2)) the deposits of which are in- sured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and any corporation (other than a bank) the deposits of which are insured by the Federal De- posit Insurance Corporation that the Office of the Comptroller of the Cur- rency and the Federal Deposit Insur- ance Corporation jointly determine to be operating in substantially the same manner as a savings association, and shall include any savings bank or any cooperative bank which is deemed by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency to be a savings association under 12 U.S.C. 1467a(1).

  • Hague Rules means the International Convention for the Unification of certain Rules of Law relating to Bills of Lading signed at Brussels on 25 August 1924.

  • Arbitration organization means an association, agency, board, commission, or other entity that is neutral and initiates, sponsors, or administers an arbitration proceeding or is involved in the appointment of an arbitrator.

  • Cooperative association means any of the following:

  • Arbitration Act means the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and shall include modifications to or any re-enactment thereof, as in force from time to time;

  • Rules of order and procedure means a set of rules that govern and prescribe in a public meeting:

  • professional association means a self-regulatory organization of engineers, geoscientists or both engineers and geoscientists that

  • the data protection principles means the principles set out in Part I of Schedule 1 to that Act, as read subject to Part II of that Schedule and to section 27(1) of that Act;

  • PPB Rules means the rules of the Procurement Policy Board as set forth in Title 9 of the Rules of the City of New York (“RCNY”), § 1-01 et seq.

  • Rules means the West Bengal Housing Industry Regulation Rules, 2018 made under the West Bengal Housing Industry Regulation Act, 2017;

  • JAMS means JAMS, Inc. or its successor entity, a judicial arbitration and mediation service.

  • AAA means the American Arbitration Association.

  • Limited cooperative association means, with respect to a Wisconsin cooperative, a cooperative organized under ch. 193.

  • Homeowners association means a person having the authority to enforce the provisions of a declaration.

  • Bona fide association means, with respect to health insurance coverage offered in this

  • Master association means an organization that is authorized to exercise some or all of the powers of one or more associations on behalf of one or more common interest communities or for the benefit of the unit owners of one or more common interest communities.

  • House Rules means written and posted rules governing house activities in the AFH-DD. These rules may not conflict with the AFH Bill of Rights.

  • Member Association means any national football association affiliated to FIFA, irrespective of whether its representative team is participating in the Competition.

  • Arbitration Rules means the AAA’s Commercial Arbitration Rules and Mediation Procedures.

  • Commissioner of Police means the person holding or acting in the office of Commissioner of Police under the Police Act 1892;
