Regulated Substances definition

Regulated Substances means any pollutant or contaminant, waste, material, compound, chemical or substance regulated under Environmental Laws, including without limitation, petroleum or petroleum-derived products, asbestos containing material, toxic mold, radon gas or off-specification drywall or wallboard.
Regulated Substances means "petroleum" and "petroleum-based substances" or any similar terms described or defined in any Environmental Laws and any applicable federal, state, county or local laws applicable to or regulating USTs.
Regulated Substances means, without limitation, any substance, material or waste, regardless of its form or nature, defined under Environmental Laws as a “hazardous substance,” “pollutant,” “pollution,” “contaminant,” “hazardous or toxic substance,” “extremely hazardous substance,” “toxic chemical,” “toxic substance,” “toxic waste,” “hazardous waste,” “special handling waste,” “industrial waste,” “residual waste,” “solid waste,” “municipal waste,” “mixed waste,” “infectious waste,” “chemotherapeutic waste,” “medical waste,” “pesticide” or “regulated substance” or any other substance, material or waste, regardless of its form or nature, which is regulated, controlled or governed by Environmental Laws due to its radioactive, ignitable, corrosive, reactive, explosive, toxic, carcinogenic or infectious properties or nature or any other material, substance or waste, regardless of its form or nature, which otherwise is regulated, controlled or governed by Environmental Laws, including petroleum and petroleum products (including crude oil and any fractions thereof), natural gas, synthetic gas and any mixtures thereof, asbestos, urea formaldehyde, polychlorinated biphenyls, mercury, radon and radioactive materials.

  • Lessee hereby fully agrees that it shall be fully liable for all costs and expenses related to the use, storage, and disposal of Regulated Substances kept on the Leased Premises by Lessee, and the Lessee shall give immediate notice to SRA of any violation or potential violation of the provisions hereof.

Regulated Substances means “petroleum” and “petroleum-based substances” or any similar terms described or defined in any of the Environmental Laws and any applicable federal, state, county or local laws applicable to or regulating USTs.
Regulated Substances means all substances regulated by Environmental Laws or the presence of which may require investigation, notification or remediation under any Environmental Laws. The term “Contamination” shall mean the discharge, release, emission, disposal or escape of any Regulated Substances into the environment other than with respect to Regulated Substances customarily used in the ordinary course of the Grantor’s business as to which the Grantor remains in compliance with all applicable Environmental Laws relating to the receipt, handling, use, storage, treatment, shipment or disposal of the same (“Permitted Substances”).
Regulated Substances means pollutants, contaminants, hazardous or toxic substances, compounds or related materials or chemicals, hazardous materials, hazardous waste, flammable explosives, radon, radioactive materials, asbestos, urea formaldehyde foam insulation, polychlorinated biphenyls, petroleum and petroleum products (including, but not limited to, waste petroleum and petroleum products) as regulated under applicable Environmental Laws.

Regulated Substances means (a) any petrochemical or petroleum products, oil or coal ash, radioactive materials, radon gas, asbestos in any form that is or could become friable, urea formaldehyde foam insulation and dielectric fluid containing polychlorinated biphenyls; (b) any chemicals, materials or substances defined as or included in the definition of "hazardous substances," "hazardous wastes," "hazardous materials," "hazardous constituents," "restricted hazardous materials," "extremely hazardous substances," "toxic substances," "contaminants," "pollutants," "toxic pollutants" or words of similar meaning and regulatory effect under any applicable Environmental Law; and (c) any other chemical, material or substance, exposure to which or whose discharge, emission, disposal or Release is prohibited, limited or regulated by any applicable Environmental Law.
