Asbestos Containing Material. (ACM) Asbestos containing insulation, flooring, and other building materials may be encountered by the Contractor during the performance of work under this contract, and the Contractor shall remain alert to this possibility. If ACM is encountered or suspected in the performance of work, the Contractor shall avoid removing, sanding, abrading, or disturbing the material. The Contractor shall verbally notify the KO within one hour and submit a written ACM Notification within 24 hours per Section F.
Asbestos Containing Material. In connection with any alteration which involves the removal, demolition or disturbance of any asbestos-containing material, Lessee shall cause to be prepared at its expense a full asbestos assessment applicable to such alteration, and shall carry out such asbestos monitoring and maintenance program as shall reasonably be required thereafter in light of the results of such a assessment.

Asbestos Containing Material. For any building renovation or demolition suspected asbestos containing material should be tested for asbestos. The removal or management of asbestos containing material shall be in compliance with federal and state laws, including the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) and OSHA’s Occupational Exposure to Asbestos Standards.
Asbestos Containing Material. Any asbestos-containing material which is known to the Company to be on or part of any Leased Real Property is in good repair according to the current standards and practices governing such material, and its presence or condition does not violate any applicable Environmental Laws.

The GRANTEE is warned that the Property may contain current and former improvements, such as buildings, facilities, equipment, and pipelines, above and below the ground that may contain ACM. The GRANTEE covenants and agrees that in its use and occupancy of the Property, it will comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws relating to asbestos. The GRANTEE is cautioned to use due care during property development activities that may uncover pipelines or other buried ACM. The GRANTEE covenants and agrees that it will notify the United States promptly of any potentially friable ACM that constitutes a release (or potential release) under CERCLA. The United States’ responsibility under this Deed for friable ACM is limited to friable ACM in demolition debris associated with past Air Force activities and is limited to the actions, if any, to be taken in accordance with the covenants contained in paragraph 22 of this Deed. The GRANTEE is warned that the United States will not be responsible for removing or responding to ACM in or on utility pipelines. The GRANTEE acknowledges that the United States assumes no liability for property damages or damages for personal injury, illness, disability, or death to the GRANTEE, or to any other person, including members of the general public, arising from or incident to the purchase, transportation, removal, handling, use, disposition, or other activity causing or leading to contact of any kind whatsoever with asbestos on the Property, whether the GRANTEE has properly warned, or failed to properly warn, the persons injured.

When a specific product is specified, the Construction Contractor shall endeavor to verify that the product does not include asbestos containing Material. 5) Construction Contractor, Subcontractor and/or Subconsultants. employees and all Site visitors, at all times on the job Site, shall furnish and wear sufficient protective gear, including but not limited to, hardhats, safety shoes and safety goggles. Construction Contractor shall also provide temporary protection measures, drinking water and temporary sanitation facilities for use by construction personnel. Construction Contractor shall provide up-to-date Material safety data sheets (MSDS) as required for Materials at the Site. Construction Contractor shall have a detailed site-specific safety plan to address State and Federal safety laws.
