Environmental Management Framework definition

Environmental Management Framework or “EMF” means the policy framework for environmental management, approved by the Project Implementing Entity’s Board of Directors on July 21, 2009, which sets forth the environmental policies and procedures that shall apply to the carrying out of the Project.
Environmental Management Framework means the Environmental Management Framework dated October 2009, prepared by Liaoning Urban Construction and Renewal Project Office and referred to in Section I, paragraph C.1 of the Schedule to the Project Agreements, which framework sets out the policies and procedures for environmental assessment and preparation of environmental mitigation plans in respect of activities under the Project, as well as administrative and monitoring arrangements to ensure the implementation of said plans, as such framework may be revised from time to time with the prior written agreement of the Bank.
Environmental Management Framework means the Environmental Management Framework, dated November 15, 2008 as updated by the Recipient on July 21, 2010 and disclosed on July 23, 2010, and the technical guidelines for implementation thereof, adopted by the Recipient, giving details of a program of actions, measures and policies designed to maximize the benefits of the Project, eliminate, offset or mitigate any adverse environmental impacts, or reduce such impacts to acceptable levels, as such Environmental Management Framework may be amended from time to time with the prior written agreement of the World Bank and the Recipient, and such term includes any annexes or schedules to such framework.

Environmental Management Framework means the Borrower’s framework, dated January 20, 2010, acceptable to the Bank, duly published and available to the public on the website xxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxxxx.xx.xxx.xx, which contains the environmental principles and policies that shall apply to the implementation of the Project including, when applicable, to the preparation and carrying out of any Subproject.
Environmental Management Framework means the framework dated January 15, 2005, prepared by Zhejiang and referred to in paragraph (5)(i) of Schedule 2 to the Project Agreement, which sets out the principles and procedures for carrying out environmental impact assessments and preparing environmental management plans for Small Hydropower Sub-projects to be identified under Part B of the Project, as said Framework may be revised from time to time with the prior concurrence of the Bank.
Environmental Management Framework means the Borrower’s framework dated December 10, 2009 (included in the Operational Manual) which sets forth, inter alia, the actions to manage/mitigate and/or address the environmental aspects of the Project, including the procedures and disposal of medical waste, as said framework may be amended from time to time with the agreement of the Bank.
Environmental Management Framework means the Recipient’s Environmental and Social Safeguards Framework, satisfactory and acceptable to the Association, which sets out, among other things: (i) key principles for social and environmental management under the different activities of the Project; (ii) procedures to screening for significant social and environmental impacts, and to assist in mitigating impacts; (iii) procedures to ensure that these principles and procedures are properly applied; and (iv) guidelines for capacity building and monitoring;
