Emergency Event definition

Emergency Event means any situation arising from sudden and reasonably unforeseen natural disaster such as earthquake, flood, fire, or other acts of God, or other unforeseen events beyond the control of the portable engine or equipment unit operator, its officers, employees, and contractors that threatens public health and safety and that requires the immediate temporary operation of portable engines or equipment units to help alleviate the threat to public health and safety.
Emergency Event means any situation arising from sudden and reasonably unforeseen natural disaster such as earthquake, flood, fire, or other acts of God, or other unforeseen events beyond the control of drayage truck owners and operators that threatens public health and safety or the reasonable flow of goods movement.
Emergency Event means a situation arising from a sudden and unforeseen event including, but not limited to, an earthquake, flood, or fire.

  • The Distributor must manage load on the Network during a System Emergency Event in accordance with the Distributor’s System Emergency Event management policy set out in Schedule 4, and the Code.

More Definitions of Emergency Event

Emergency Event means an event which causes or is likely to cause significant damage to the Network of a Party or which endangers or is likely to endanger the health or safety of any person;
Emergency Event has the meaning given to it in paragraph 1.2(e) of Schedule 10.4 (Force Majeure);

General Terms and Conditions means these General Terms and Conditions as amended, updated or replaced by us from time to time. If we amend, update or replace them, we will send you a new copy at least thirty days before they come into force. Interruptible Supply means a supply of water which may be interrupted by us in accordance with the interruptible supply terms for each Premises set out in the Agreement. Losses means damage, losses, expenses or costs. Meter in the context of the Agreement means a meter installed at or near, serving your Premises.
Emergency Event means an event caused by the occurrence of an emergency as defined by G.S. 166A-19.3(6) or the loss of a jail’s utility service that includes electricity, water, gas, or communications.
Emergency Event means a sudden and unexpected event or circumstance which has caused or reasonably threatens to cause (a) serious bodily injury to any personnel employed at the Site or any other persons at or in the vicinity of the Site; (b) serious physical damage to the Plant, including the Site or other material or property located at or in the vicinity of the Site; (c) a work stoppage or other serious labour disturbance at the Site; (d) a shutdown or other serious interruption in or interference with the operation or functioning of the electrical distribution facilities relevant to or otherwise affecting the Plant; (e) imposition of fines or other penalties or sanctions under any Directive, (except those penalties levied by Owner as per the agreements of this Contract with O&M Operator) which fines, penalties or sanctions would be likely to affect seriously the ability of Owner or the Operator to perform any of its or their obligations; or (f) an occurrence of any accident materially impacting on the environment.

Emergency Event means a situation that poses an immediate risk to health, life, safety, property or environment. Emergencies require urgent intervention to prevent further illness, injury, death, or other worsening of the situation.
