Meter Read definition

Meter Read means a read of the Meter by physical or electronic inspection. Network Event means an unforeseen and reasonably unforeseeable event which prevents or materially restricts the ability of the Supply System to provide the Water Supply to any one or more of your Premises. Parties means you and us. Payment Plan means the estimated annual charges for the Premises, to be paid in accordance with the payment terms detailed in the Agreement. If, however, the retail area default charges are amended, a new Payment Plan will be provided. The new Payment Plan will also reflect any variation in consumption levels from those estimated in the initial Payment Plan.

Premises means any eligible Premises specified in the Agreement or otherwise agreed by you and us in writing to be supplied under the Agreement. Relevant Law means any statute, regulation, bylaw, ordinance or subordinate legislation which is in force or which may be introduced to which either you or us is subject; the common law as applicable to you or us; any binding Court order, judgment or decree applicable to you or us; any binding order, decision, determination or direction of a Competent Authority which applies generally or applies to you or us in relation to the Agreement; any and all relevant licences, consents or permissions, including our water supply licence; and any applicable industry code, policy, guidance or standard terms enforceable by law. Start Date means the date on which the supply commences. Supply Changemeans achangetothe Water Supply (e.g. changes to the source, colour or qualities of the Water Supply) other than a Supply Interruption. Supply Interruption/Interrupt means any failure in whole or in part to provide a Water Supply other than a Supply Change for four or more hours where such failure relates to the reduction in the constancy or pressure of the water supplied to the Premises and then only to the extent that such a reduction is material.

Meter Read means the life time Page count information that is obtained from each Managed Output Device.

Examples of Meter Read in a sentence

• The Licensed Provider shall be entitled to arrange for Customer Reads to be carried out (instead of the Licensed Provider or its agent carrying out a Regular Cyclic Read) on up to ten (10) occasions in any calendar year per Supply Point and in accordance with CSD 0202 (Meter Read Submission: Process).

• Service from National Grid to individual customers taking Standard Offer Service as of the Commencement Date shall begin on the customer’s meter reading date following notification/determination that a customer will be commencing Standard Offer Service or such other date designated by National Grid consistent with National Grid’s Tariff for Off Cycle Meter Read for Switch of Supplier R.I.P.U.C. • On receipt of any notice of a validation failure the Licensed Provider (or Scottish Water (as appropriate) shall respond to the CMA in accordance with CSD 0203 (Meter Read Submission: Validation).

• Scottish Water shall carry out and submit Meter Reads on each of the events set out in CSD 0202 (Meter Read Submission: Process) in accordance with that CSD.

• In such case, the customer will be switched to Standard Offer Service on a date designated by National Grid consistent with National Grid’s Tariff for Off Cycle Meter Read for Switch of Supplier R.I.P.U.C. No. 2019-A in Rhode Island.

• To avoid doubt, the Licensed Provider shall be entitled to arrange for Customer Reads to be carried out (instead of the Licensed Provider or its agent carrying out a Regular Cyclic Read), but only on one (1) occasion in any calendar year per Supply Point and in accordance with CSD 0202 (Meter Read Submission: Process).

• Where, on the basis of evidence available to it, the CMA reasonably believes that there is any question or dispute concerning the accuracy of any Meter Read, the CMA shall be entitled to require that the relevant Trading Party requests a meter accuracy test in accordance with the Operational Code.

• In relation to Monthly Read Meters for all Supply Points for which it is Registered, each Licensed Provider shall carry out or procure that its agent shall carry out a Regular Cyclic Read or an AMR Read, these having an equal weighting, and submit this to the CMA once a Month in accordance with CSD 0202 (Meter Read Submission: Process).

• In relation to Bi-annually Read Meters for all Supply Points for which it is Registered, each Licensed Provider shall carry out or procure that its agent shall carry out a Regular Cyclic Read and submit this or an AMR Read, these having an equal weighting, at least once every six (6) months in accordance with CSD 0202 (Meter Read Submission: Process).
