Data Protection Legislation means the Data Protection Act 1998 and all applicable laws and regulations relating to processing of personal data and privacy, including where applicable the guidance and codes of practice issued by the Information Commissioner or relevant Government department in relation to such legislation;
Data Protection Legislation means the UK Data Protection Legislation and any other European Union legislation relating to personal data and all other legislation and regulatory requirements in force from time to time which apply to a party relating to the use of personal data (including, without limitation, the privacy of electronic communications).

The Processor shall notify the Controller and shall procure that its agents and sub- contractors notify the Controller: promptly of any requests received from a Data Subject exercising his or her rights under Data Protection Legislation and if required by the Controller to do so respond to any such requests; immediately on becoming aware of any actual, suspected or threatened loss, leak or unauthorised processing or disclosure of any Personal Data.

More Definitions of Data Protection Legislation
Data Protection Legislation means the UK Data Protection Legislation and (for so long as and to the extent that the law of the European Union has legal effect in the UK) the General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679) and any other directly applicable European Union regulation relating to the protection and processing of Personal Data;
