Applicable Law definition

Applicable Law means all laws, statutes, common law, regulations, ordinances, codes, rules, guidelines, orders, permits, tariffs and approvals, including those relating to the environment or health and safety, of any Governmental Authority that apply to the Parties or the subject matter of this Agreement.
Applicable Law means, with respect to any Person, any federal, state or local law (statutory, common or otherwise), constitution, treaty, convention, ordinance, code, rule, regulation, order, injunction, judgment, decree, ruling or other similar requirement enacted, adopted, promulgated or applied by a Governmental Authority or Regulatory Agency that is binding upon or applicable to such Person or its assets, as amended unless expressly specified otherwise.

Examples of Applicable Law in a sentence

  • In no event shall any provision of this Agreement obligate GTE to provide AT&T with interconnection that is superior in quality to that provided by GTE to itself, its affiliates, or other third parties to which GTE provides interconnection or that GTE is not otherwise required to provide under Applicable Law.
