Competitive service means any service offered by an electric public utility or a gas public utility that the board determines to be competitive pursuant to section 8 or section 10 of P.L.1999, c.23 (C.48:3-56 or C.48:3-58) or that is not regulated by the board.

  • Before taking any of the disciplinary actions specified in Section 17.2 of the MOU against any employee who has passed a probationary period for a position in the City's Competitive Service, the City shall cause to be served, personally or by certified mail, to the employee, with a copy sent to the Union, a “Notice of Intent to Take Disciplinary Action”.
